WalMart joins in gay agenda

Et tu, WalMart ?? WalMart is joining other companies in the promotion or acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle. WalMart moves into Smalltown, U.S. and puts the smaller mom&pop stores out of business. We patronize them because of their lower prices. This is how WalMart repays us. I am going back to Target & Sunflower.

Note the memo contained in the link. They are apparently blocking Email. I called both the phone #'s on the memo and left a message. I am also taking a copy of the memo to the WalMart manager in my town and may take the memo to the owner of the largest WalMart competitor in town. He obviously does not like WalMart.

We have a Walmart here in my town and they are going to up it to a Super Walmart. If this is true, when they build the target I will go there.

On a side note, I think it would be really hard to argue that Wal-Mart intentionally pulls into "Small Town America" with an agenda to bankrupt all the small mom and pop business. Like any business they are out to make money. And to make money in any particular market you have to compete.

Besides, nobody ever forced anyone to shop at Wal-Mart.

I don't know that Target does not feel the same way. But since I have not seen a Target memo to this effect, I must give them the benefit of doubt. If I hear of the same with Target, there are plenty of other retailers. Bottom line....do you knowingly want to give your money to a company who supports this? :)

I don't know Target is anti-Christian, they wouldn't even let the salvation army stand close to their buildings

I try never to shop at Walmart because virtually everything there is 'made in China', and I figure every $ we send to China is going to come back at us in the form of bullets within the next few years.

This gives me just one more reason to NOT shop at Walmart.

For the record, I agree with your sentiments 100%.

However, it is my opinion that the "One Million [insert group here]" organization engages in unhealthy rhetoric and scare tactics. I used to get e-mails from "One Million Moms" all the time, until I finally told them to please leave me alone.

Did you read the memo?

Here is what "One Million Dads" wrote about the memo. Note the portions I've bolded:

"Wal-Mart has finally caved in to the homosexual activists.

An internal memo to employees dated April 22, encouraged interest and support for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender associates to band together in order to "foster a sense of community."

In essence, Wal-Mart is deliberately organizing a group of homosexual employees at their home office in Bentonville, Arkansas. It is only a matter of time before this group demands same-sex partner health benefits, financial support for gay meetings, "pride" parades, and workshops.

But that's not all. Wal-Mart is also saying homosexuals are born that way. They are recognizing homosexuality as equal to race and national origin. This is one of the arguments homosexuals are using to demand the right of same-sex marriage.

Sadly, Wal-Mart is now giving special recognition to employees who practice unnatural and unhealthy lifestyles. And, they're doing it with profits made from you, the customer."

I love that last paragraph, by the way.
