Ever stop to think about it? It's always NOW. The future doesn't exist yet. The past doesn't exist anymore. When we were in the past, it was now (at the time). When we get to the future, it'll be now (when it gets here). History is progressing from future to past, and we are like individual wheels rolling along that highway through time... but we are always at the point of NOW (where the rubber meets the road). In this life, of course. We have no concept of what eternity will be like. For example, will God still be the only one to know what will happen? He knows the future. We do not know what is going to happen in the next second but God does. We live for the day. LOL I also heard it described as two different parallel timelines, one above the other, ...the one on top is God's and it's predestined by His Will, it won't ever change, ...the one under it is ours, wandering aimlessly along guided by our own will, as long as we are traveling on our own timeline we are not with God, when we decide to join God then we are traveling on God'st timeline and we are with Him.
