Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

Those whos say we have to follow the ten commandments . Dont know we walk by the spirit and not the law. In the old covenant they lived by the law. In the new covenant we live by Gods spirit. Which helps us to walk righteous.

If you walk in the Spirit and obey the 2 great commandments to love God and your neighbor, you are automatically keeping the 10 commandments.

If you do not keep the Ten, how can you say you walk by the Spirit?

Walking in the New Covenant is not the same as the Old, for example, instead of "love thy neighbor as thyself," it now is "love one another as I have love you," which answers to it being "a new commandment" (Jhn 13:34); which is done, not according to self ("as thyself") but according to the Spirit, as FF has already indicated.

The separation of the two Covenants are typified in the "old" and "new garment" (Mat 9:16), and in the "new wine into old bottles" (Mat 9:17).

It makes me laugh when people say "Judaizers"

What makes Christians think that any Jew is interested in converting one of them to Judaism?   Hah, ridiculous.

What's worst is attempting an admixture of the two (Judaeo-Christian). Just to demonstrate truth, wasn't one of Paul's ongoing contentions with the Jews was their repeated attempts to proselytize Christians?

God bless!

I like the illustration of placing a note into a book and mailing that book here and there. Everything the book experiences the note experiences. The history of the book, is the history of the note.

We were placed 'IN CHRIST' by the Father...like the note in the book. We died in Him on the Cross, were buried, we rose and we ascended. This is history. It happened as ordained by our Father.

Everything that Christ is--we are. We cannot add to this work.

The understanding must start with this as the foundation. Everything has to be consistent with the Cross and Resurrection and Ascension.

Christ's work and the Father placing us 'In Him' solved all the problems of 'Old Adam' and provided for the Father's 'eternal purpose'--to have many sons. To share 'being' with the universe He constructed.

He didn't just sever us from the old Adam--He killed him and we were resurrected from that death to a 'New Life' Governed by an entirely new economy. This economy is as far from the 'principle of law and death' as the heavens are above the earth.

The problems come in when born again believers resurrect the old man and his ways rather than walk in the Spirit.  IF you walk in the Spirit, you are not under the curse of the law.  The law remains for those who refuse to walk in newness of life.  They are under the curse of the law whether they acknowledge it or not.

Not to personally conflict with what you're sharing, and only for the sake of seeking truth, I would like to point out that God demonstrates we should not attempt to live by what He has "taken away" (Heb 10:9):  Jesus said, "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves" (Mat 23:15).

Blessings!
