It would be best to talk to her.

To start with, do you actually hate her?

I assume the answer would be no or you wouldn't be bothered by it....

Ayin is right, you must talk to her...     what to say would depend greatly on why you would say such a thing....

Like the above have said, you have to go and talk with her. Offer a sincere apology to her. If you're having a disagreement, perhaps sit down and discuss whatever it is in a calm manner making sure you take the time to genuinely listen to what they have to say as well.

Are you a praying person and a Christian? If that is the case I would pray to God for forgiveness and ask Him to put the words on your tongue that He wants you to tell her.

The longer you wait, the worse it becomes. Instead:

Proverbs 6:2-5 (NIV)
2  if you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth,
3  then do this, my son, to free yourself, since you have fallen into your neighbor's hands: Go and humble yourself; press your plea with your neighbor!
4  Allow no sleep to your eyes, no slumber to your eyelids.
5  Free yourself, like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler.

Blessings to you.

We have all been in your place at some time.  I like to keep "short lists" so that nothing stands between me and someone else and nothing stands between me and God.

Mat 6:14  "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  Mat 6:15  But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Mat 5:23  “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you,   Mat 5:24  “leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Perhaps you could call her up and when she answers, start off with something like, “I’m so sorry; would you forgive me?”  It’ll be worth it, I’m pretty sure.
