My questions is a bit more specific than in the heading. I will say a statement but I want to get peoples opinions to see if what I am saying is biblically accurate.

Since the death of Jesus, our sins do not separate us from God because there is no condemnation for those in Christ. So that being said, sin does not separate God from us, however sin can and does separate us from him. In the sense that we are still sinners and are still affected by it and if we sin a lot it makes us ‘feel’ distant from to God, however it does not distance God to us, if that makes sense.

in Isaiah 59:2 is says that “your iniquities have separated you from God”. So before Jesus sin affected Gods relationship with us, and our relationship with him. But now, being in Christ, it does not affect our relationship from God to us, but it can affect our relationship still from us to him.

How does this sound?

Only one sin---the sin of unbelief---hardens one's heart against God. In Christ, all other sin affects our fellowship with him. Confess and turn toward God (repent), and fellowship is restored. We cannot remove our own sin. We must continually ask the Spirit to intercede for us. Jesus said, "Apart from me you can do nothing."

Sin brings trouble into our lives. If we want a trouble-free life, we need to refrain from sinning, I believe.

If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.  1 John 5:16

There is a sin that leads to death..., physical death, ...please notice the Holy Spirit writing through John tells us the man is a born again child of God.

The most notable example of this was a world renown,  ...accredited pastor, University teacher and lecturer, Christian writer and had his own radio show, ...one day while listening to him in the late 80's, ...I heard him say something that not only contradicted the Word but went totally against Biblical doctrine, ...I thought, "Wow, did I hear that right?"  Then a couple days later I heard he say something else that was Scripturally wrong, ...the next Monday morning his wife found him dead...,   He went home to be with his beloved Lord, ...but because of his influence and importance in the Christian community, ...Father could not let him continue on in his ministry with false teaching.

Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.  Jas 3:1

Teachers have a greater responsibility to the Church because of what the Holy Spirit reveals to them to teach, edify and build up the body of Christ, ...unfortunately, because of their God given wisdom, ...many place them on a pedestal, and sometimes it's necessary for Father take them Home, ...their credibility has been ruined from what they have presumptuously or falsely taught.

Lord bless

Yes, when Adam and Eve sinned, the Sinful Nature was applied to each human being that has been born of a woman and water. The problem isn't that we have sin in our lives, the problem is that we have the Sinful Nature. This Nature is the curse that beset us from the beginning. And this, this is the entire purpose of the working Bible. The core context of the Bible is the Power of God, the sub-context is that of a Circumcised Heart. The point of the Bible is to show us how to become purified so that we do not experience the wrath of God.

Colossians 2:11-15 is clear that this Sinful Nature is to be removed. So Jesus didn't ONLY die for our sins, but He died so that the Sinful Nature would be removed. When this Sinful Nature is removed, it is replaced with the Divine Nature as noted in 2 Pet 1:4. Once this Sinful Nature has been removed, we are no longer under the wrath of God; we are Truly set free.

Col 2:11-15 needs your desperate attention. If I were you, I would begin a Bible study that surround this verse . . . and make this study last throughout your entire lifetime. More verses to show the way would be Eph 2:10-16, Eph 3:1-13 and then consider Genesis 3:22-24. Mull these passages over and you will be utterly amazed!

I didn't get a chance to read the entire body of work, but it looks to me like God has enabled you to understand His Holy Word. I know that you're grateful!

I am of no consequence--it is for the Body.

You're not grateful that God has removed your heart of stone?

That is not what I meant. The 'teaching' comes from an unworthy vessel that is nothing but a 'faucet' turned on as He wills.

Anything of any value has its source in Him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
