Chat room presence

[Neighbor]

Hi all,

just scrolled through listings of categories and noticed "chat room". It says Neighbor is  in one; "Members in the chat room: Ed J, Equippers, BibleStudent100, Neighbor, Alive, George"

I am not in a chat room. I never go to chat rooms. I type far too slowly to try that.

Maybe I visited one once and am still there? Perhaps I didn't escape  and am like "Charlie On  The MTA" (An old Kingston Trio song reference)? Maybe there is more than one Neighbor. 

Anyway if I am there  I am not "listening in" -

Hey If I am stuck there, will ya   please throw me a sandwich?  If like Charlie I need pay a fee more than a dime  to get out, toss in a nickel too else much like Charlie  stuck at the Jamaica Plain turnstile I may never return no never return.

What is really funny I suppose is that I personally have been stuck at the end of the MTA line without funds to get home at Greater Boston, as a kid. I have no idea where I ended up. Seemed like I went half way to Gloucester on trollies and subways.

A kind conductor said to me, hey kid why are you still on the trolley, that was my last stop. I am headed for the yard. I told him I wanted Watertown. He said What?! And he worked out a plan to get me home to Watertown.

I had to stay hidden low in my seat in the trolley yard until the next run of the trolly, they then got me switched over and as far back as Cambridge and East Watertown. I then knew where I was, could follow the Charles River and so I  hitched a ride from there. Think I was about 11 years old at the time. I managed to keep small change on me after that. So Charlie And The MTA has always had a special "note" to it.

Come to think of it, I have been lost at The Garden and also trying to get  to Fenway as a kid.

Once I was to meet my father at the Boston Garden for a Celtics game. He ended up at one terminal, I at another. We both waited and waited. I finally went home after there as no one there but me. My father waited and waited at the other terminal to the Garden until the overtime finish of that game.

Guess I have spent much  of my life lost on a ride to somewhere, till God turned me about one day.
