Of course we are worthy. Why else would God send His Son to die for a Sinful Nature that I did nothing to earn. This is why God sends His Son on His accord, because the Sinful Nature was added to me beyond my own will and accord. God loves us so much that He gave His only Son. That tells me that I am wonderfully and incredibly worthy. To take another view . . . I cannot imagine it.

He regretted even making mankind, I dont blame Him, Im from.the rough side of life, its a very nasty world, none of us are worthy, His Mercy/grace is Just that great!. If youve ever even lusted after a man or woman in your heart in your life! You are unworthy of His Kingdom. And worthy of Death. But By His Amazing grace we are saved.

Outside of Christ we are certainly not worthy at all -

"But we are all like an unclean thing,
And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags"

To say that we are not worthy is to deny the Mysterious Plan of God. The whole Plan revolves around the Circumcised heart, the foreskins of our hearts. This is the cost of salvation. The cost is to surrender the foreskins of our hearts, and in by doing so, we are purified. And this is done so that Jews and Gentiles would become one body, one new man.

This Plan of God exists because we are worthy of Him to bestow His Power upon us.

[Lev 26:13 NIV] 13 I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high.

This is why I love the understanding of creation i began to share last night..bc it puts the blame to every human together as one, in the decision of eating the Knowledge of Good and evil.

As with Sodom and Gomorrah if even 10! Was counted righteous He would spare both citys. Thats our Fathers Character.

Hi Yishai,

I think you quoted from someone else on a post that I may have made. I don't think I have said "a sinful nature that I did nothing to earn". I think Thess may have written that.

My own view at this point is very much  Calvinist regarding total depravity- Though I credit myself as being perhaps the world's only Freewill Calvinist. God knew me not as  a group think or one with all, but as an individual from before the beginning. He gave me to His Son foreknowing me and predestining me to be of His Son's flock, over which Jesus is the Good Shepherd that died for His sheep, and descended an d arose again to ascend, the first fruits of many to come. All known to Jesus from the time his Father gave to Him His flock to tend.

I do that one all the time. I fail to go back to the original post and instead just quote from a post already quoting what I want to quote. When I  do that the quote gets attributed to the person quoting another person instead of the original poster of it.

Reads like an old Abbott and Costello routine doesn't it? Who's on first?

you can study it.  they have documentation they did call the temple that and i have read it before.  its not extremely common tho.  the sermon i heard that in i was present in the church.  every since then i have kept it in the back of my mind as the guy preaching had come previously and said if i look at you while i am signing i am singing TO you.  it was a prophecy over my life.  so far, every word has come true and is coming true.  thats the best i have for a source to cite.  take it or leave it.

i cant prove Jesus was looking at the temple or referencing the temple by scripture so i do not teach it.  i was just offering it as something others can look into and pray about.  i still have not gotten an answer for sure either way if its true.   this thread made that jolt into my mind and  thought i would share.  as of now though, i do think its true.  about 95% sure as my Spirit does not knot up and cringe and want to move away when these words are spoken.  I have learned to trust that river in my belly.

I did a little searching and found this, which supports what you are saying, that I think is worth considering:  http://www.reenactingtheway.com/blog/when-heaven-and-earth-passed-away-everything-changed879420187179853150181   It makes sense to me.

(Though I believe we should also keep in mind that Jesus speaking prophetically, ie, spiritually... and many scriptures, are often alluding to more than one meaning at the same time.)

Worth considering too, that the word for abolish (referring to the Law) is the same Greek word "katalyo" used in all the scripts where Jesus also spoke about the destruction of the temple.

I guess we're a different frame of mind then - I know that outside of Jesus I am the farthest thing from worthy. It's only through Him and IN Him I find my redemption and worth. The plan of God exists to restore us into relationship with Him, not because we are worthy outside of Him, but because He wanted us to be His.

Leviticus 26:2-4 "Ye shall Keep My Sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary:I am Yahweh 3. If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments, and do them; 4. Then I will give you rain in due season"

26:9 "For I will have respect unto you and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. 10. And ye shall eat old store, and BRING FORTH THE OLD BECAUSE OF THE NEW. 12. And I will Walk among you, and will be your Elohim, and ye shall be my people. 13. I am YHWH your Elohim who brought you forth out of the land of Egypty" 14. But if you will not hearken unto Me and will Not do all these commandments: 15. And if ye shall despise my statutes"

Above we see a prophecy about the Messiah, Keeping commands, and the old becoming new in order to revive the old..

Now lets compare this with Mathew 5:17-19...

5:17-19 "Do not think that I Have come to loosen Torah or the prophets, I have not come to loosen but to fulfill. 18. For truly I say to you that not one Yodh or Stroke will pass from Torah until everything happens. 19. All who loosen therefore from one of these small commandments and teach thus to the sons of man, will be called little in the Kingdom of Heaven, but all who do and teach this will be called great in The Kingdom of Heaven"

we also know that in the beginning was the Word, and He said let there be light, and the light was good...this light was not the sun, moon or stars, as they was created on day 4...Perry stone Believes this light to be the Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit)

Bless you brother and thanks for the reminders of scripture.  Jesus also said:

Mat 13:52

He said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”

But where it talks about bringing forth the old because of the new in Lev. 26:9....is talking about the people of Israel being revived through Yeshua and John the Baptist to even hearken to those old scriptures and return to the Lord....Israel was largely in a state of apostasy at the time Jesus came...and we know this because she had been given over by God to Roman oppression.  John the Baptist (spirit of Elijah) was in process of reviving and restoring the people back to the Lord and His word in order to prepare the way for Jesus.  Also a second meaning could be talking about seeing those "old" scriptures in a new light, ie, through the lens of the New Covenant, which means serving in the new way of the spirit, not in the old way of the letter.  Where the things of the old covenant were a type and shadow of things to come.....and serving in the new way of the Spirit is actually a higher standard, so to speak, than the old way of the letter.  New and renewing in scripture is often speaking of something or someone becoming spiritual and no longer according to the flesh...as in becoming a new creature, or renewing of our minds.

You are loved, I dont' know everything you believe about the Law, etc, and I don't want to argue too much, but just thought this might be helpful and something to think about.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
