We were sharing how we were just plain tired

I feel the Lord directed me to your special need.

Actually this very concern has been carried by me over the last few days.

I felt a great need to pray for all of admins--knowing the great burden carried and by each and every one of you. Since having joined Worthy I have been

absolutely amazed by your dedication!

I just want to encourage you right now --I want you to know that there are many people here like me who greatly appreciate you and all the effort you put into making this wonderful site a blessing to all of us here.

So a simple ((((((HUG)))))) from me to you , dear.

I want to personally thank you Rusty (and truly all of the other Admins)

for the work and effort you have devoted to Worthy. Thank you Thank you! ! !

:taped::24::24::b::24:

God Bless you

I've only recently come to understand something.  Satan's goal is not to have a lot of company with him in hell.  He doesn't want them for himself.  That's not what he's interested in.  He's interested in taking people away from God.  It's pure spite and hatred.  He couldn't care less about the people, he just wants to rob God of them.  That really fired-up my furnace when I realized that.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Good point, and I agree that Satan is interested in taking people away from God out of spite, but there is also an element of wanting to take us down with him, out of spite, too. It is not that he wants us with him, that's not the point. And, you are right, he wants us away from God. But, he also wants to drag us down with him as kind of his own "bragging roles," if you know what I mean.

Think of how some human beings, when they get caught at something or when doing something bad will do all they can to bring others down with them. It's almost as though "if I'm going to go down, you're going down with me," like they want to punish other people for their own mistakes. Have you seen this?

Well, I think it's like that with Satan, too. He knows he is doomed so he is going to see how many he can take down with him as a kind of "in your face" to God, so to speak, but not just to get us away from God. I truly believe he is in the business of destroying lives and he wants to destroy as many as possible. He hates us, too.

Well, that's what I think, anyway, for what it's worth. :emot-highfive:

Ah Rusty I feel for you sister. I won't elaborate but heres some issues right now in my life:

1. Still no health insurance, applied from group to group on April 14-15? For hubbies new job...the application stayed at the underwriters forever...Agent would not return any phone calls...when they did they refused to cover my son and put a rider on my daughter for one year.

Under Michigan HIPPA law they cannot do that...so that is being fought over right now. In the meantime my daughters perscriptions are over 200.00 a month for allergies/asthma...and my son who has (pronatia sp?) needs new shoe braces for his feet and they are so very very expensive. But praise God the orthepedic surgeon is very understanding and is willing to work out a payment plan with us.

2. My parents are talking about seperating and pulling me in the middle.

3. My two half-sisters are not speaking and pulling me in the middle.

4. Major dissappointment on a young guy missing from our neighborhood, I seen firsthand major hurt and heartbreak...almost made me question why I got so involved. Got through it but still feel horrible for the parents I just can't shake my sadness for them.

5. A guy that came into the movie store I work at was found dead after laying in his apartment for 9 days. Everyone was so mean to him. He used to come into the store and visit with me...I was kind to him. I cringe to think of his last moments and how no one was ever there for him.

6. And we have out of state visiters. I won't say who. But needless to say when they come up there is a definate strain on hubby and I's marriage.

And just this overwhelming feeling of indifference when you walk through a crowd. I mean I go to town and its everywhere...its seems like no wants to look at you and smile anymore...people are so withdrawn and angry. It sometimes make you feel like you just want to go home and stay there where you feel safe. Or it will sometimes make you feel like its your fault, and you rack your brain trying to remember if you inadvertently offended them last time you seen them.

Gee now I feel like a complainer :taped: I praise God everyday for my family and I love them alot...I have decided to give it all to Him, I'll let Him be my advocate, I have to or I'll be in the looney-bin :emot-highfive:

Love and Blessings,

Angel

I am praying for you and your husband and for everyone who is fighting the battle with Satan. Take it to God and He will fight for you! I love you sister!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
