Hi kwik!

In addition, when God cursed the ground and changed Adam's source and way of food... I've suspected this was when ticks, mosquito's, fleas, micro organisms, germs and other parasites changed their diets too. It's also interesting looking at the dietary laws prior to the flood and after the flood [clean - unclean, cloven - uncloven] and applying it to health and prevention of disease / parasites we know of today.

Hi Dennis!

Blessings Brother, sounds about right to me,I seriously doubts those "pests" were pesty at all prior to that or if they even existed at all   Once again we are on the same page, lol                                                       With love -in Christ,Kwik

Keeping from temptation means KEEPING FROM TEMPTATION...  why does everyone seem to want to add to these few words their own spin? And your 70th week has quite possibly already happened.

Rev 3:10 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon ALL THE WORLD, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Great Tribulation shall come upon ALL THE WORLD unlike anything that happened be4 in history of nations and the hour of temptation is the 70th week of Daniel).

Why would Jesus offer us to escape all these things ? Escape from what ???????

Luke 21:36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.

They who are kept from the hour of temptation that will come upon the whole world, are the saints, metaphorically represented as the woman who flees into the wilderness away from the lies Satan will advocate (Revelation 12:14). The hour of temptation is the system of the beast that the whole world who are not written in the book of life shall worship (Revelation 13:8). The saints are still on the earth throughout this time in which the beasts system is in play.

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. Revelation 12:14

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

So does keeping from temptation that comes to try the world mean being whisked away to another dimension before the temptation even occurs?

Or will it be like Noah? Right in the middle of the tempest, kept warm and dry and safe and sound.

Or Lot? Lot endured Sodom as the only righteous man. When was he taken out? The moment before wrath fell. Gathered by angels and swept from the city and the city burned to the ground right behind him.

Are you saying there is no way the Lord could ever keep one safe right where they are?

Escape from what, you ask? What about the act that dooms the soul, worshiping the beast or taking the mark?

Are you of the opinion the Lord is saving bodies or spirits?

A look at 'keep' in that verse means to watch over or guard. That's really what 'keep' means in any age. To watch over in the hour of temptation certainly does not mean 'forcibly abducted from one place and taken to another.'

No one is whisked away to another dimension. There are three areas in which the description of being caught up to heaven appears. The first is where an individual is caught up to heaven where he hears words which cannot at the time be related on earth, but which said individual later on earth relates his experience to Paul (2 Corinthians 12:2 & 4), thereby indicating his being caught up to heaven a spiritual experience. The second area where being caught up appears is the one rapurists believe to represent their removal from the earth prior to the tribulation which is in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, where after a resurrection occurs, those who are in body form on the earth, are caught up to God in heaven. The third area where someone is caught up to God in heaven is that of the male child whom the woman conceives in Revelation 12:5, of whom later in Revelation 12:17 we see the devil who has been cast to the earth, going off to wage war with the remnant offspring, thereby also indicating the male child who is caught up to God in heaven being a spiritual experience.

2 Corinthians 12:2  I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Revelation 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Whether we physically come through the great tribulation is irrelevant. What is relevant is that the Lord will keep the saints spiritually safe from the lies the devil will advocate. Many saints will survive the tribulation as remnant in Revelation 12:17 indicates. There will, however, also be many saints who will physically perish under the dragon, the beasts, and his mouth's (the antichrists) reign, as Revelation 12:10, 13:10 & Daniel 11:33 indicate.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Daniel 11:33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

Temptations ? Sexual temptations, greedy, gluttony, laziness, happens everyday. not this kind that Jesus will save you from when you are deemed worthy.

That wont happen to the Great Multitude in front of the Throne but to the tribulation saints who will follow the other martyrs under the altar.

Noah escaped from the rage of the flood be4 it happened. Our Ark is the Lord Jesus.

Hello R. Hartono, The patience of the saints in Revelation 13:10 is in their knowing that whatever unjust actions man will enact upon them, including their murders, unjust mankind will likewise receive the same fate.

Revelation 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
