2. Verse 2, she makes the kings drunk, the Disciples were made drunk by the Holy Spirit, these are made drunk by False Religion. (CHECK)

3. False Religion has been co-mingled with Worldly Governments since the beginning of time. (CHECK)

4. Scarlet and Purple were Exclusive & expensive colors worn primarily by the Royals and Pious Pagan Religious Orders, the Harlot [Religions] RIDES the [Gov] Beast. (CHECK)

5. The Harlot Religions were at their zenith in Babylon, Babylon was the Mother of Harlots and False Religion is an Abomination. (CHECK)

6. False Religion has the blood of the Jewish Saints and the Christian Martyrs on her hands. If the Romans, Greeks etc. all False Religions had known the real God they wouldn't have killed the Jews and Christians. (CHECK)

7. The Secret is revealed to us in verses 8-18 and in chapter 18. The Harlot False Religions are KILLED OFF {Judged} by the kings in league with the Beast, who deems himself to be worthy as the ONLY GOD to be worshiped. Thus Babylon getting Judged in Rev. 18 is the World Governments getting judged by God, the False Religions will be JUDGED......TAKEN OUT by the Kings and the Beast, they kill off the Harlot.

The KJV and others states that the kings of the earth committed fornication with here and the INHABITANTS of the earth has been made drunk by the wine of here fornication.

Yes, I was trying to limit each point to one line, but the kings indeed dictate to the people. Just like our United States leaders, teaching our kids in school to be trans, to be homosexual, that abortion is OK, they are a part of the "King" System. Government in general is a BEAST that Satan rules over as Luke 4 shows us. And, on top of all that, what most people don't realize is today's so called NON RELIGIOUS MOVEMENTS, like Humanism and Secularism, is a False Religion. Communism is also a False Religion, they worship the state/beast over God.

I agree with a lot of the comments. But what of Rev 18? Isn't Rev 18 describing a city with enormous global purchasing power? Are not Rev 17 and 18 tied together in the revealing of the mystery of Babylon and the destruction of Babylon? Does this mean Babylon is both a global spiritual evil and a vast economic powerhouse and both are centered in a city?

As far as I can tell the region where most ship cargo is bought and sold is China. What city could command such economic power that when destroyed there is no one else that can buy ship cargo? Pretty stunning condition.

As far as I can tell the region where most ship cargo is bought and sold is China. What city could command such economic power that when destroyed there is no one else that can buy ship cargo? Pretty stunning condition.

That thought has occupied my mind for a while now, as China is really the global supplier of cheap goods now and has huge ports and shipping traffic. She has a program named the "Beltin road initiative" that is creating huge trade routes and territories that reaches into Africa.  China for now has to be taken into context as a player.  Events can change as we know in world politics and economics, but China is like a growing beast right now.

Roman Catholicism is THE continuation of Babylonian false religion.  It is also the direct descendant of Caesar worship, the bishop of Rome having had the pagan title of Pontifex Maximus  (one of his titles of blasphemy, meaning "greatest bridge-builder", in the sense of a bridge between God and man) conferred upon him, which the later Roman emperors had.

Romanism claims authority over ALL religions (and contains many elements of pagan religions) and pronounces that they can all be saved, while remaining in their religions, as long as they live according to the light they supposedly have and acknowledge the claimed primacy of the "Pope" (another title of blasphemy, meaning "Father").

Babylon is just one of three descriptors of the Harlot, its a MYSTERY....1. Babylon the Great and 2 and 3 everyone knows by now. So, Babylon is the Government side of the whole picture. The Harlot [False Religions] RIDES the [Government] Beasts down through the ages, Egypt had their false gods, as did Greece and Rome, but Babylon was noted for that, thus Babylon is used to describe or paint the picture. The Harlot is co=-mingled with these anti-god Beast Governments whom Satan rules as Luke 4 tells us. 

Thus, Babylon stands for the Whole World, Jesus and John new they couldn't say in the book of Revelation that the world was going to be judged, so they used a dead city, Babylon, thus the Romans laughed at their writings, they used code words for Israel because Rome had sacked Israel 20 years earlier, not only was WOMAN used in Rev. 12 bit I think the 144,000 simply refers to the fleeing Jews who flee unto Petra. In Rev. 18:4 God says come out of her MY PEOPLE {Israel}. The key to unlocking this is Rev. 16:19 IMHO.

Rev. 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts (Jerusalem/Jesus splits Mt. Olives), and the cities of the nations fell (Babylon falls): and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

So, God calls the Nations Jesus defeats at Armageddon Babylon the Great, so who fell? Lets look at the 6th Vial.

Rev. 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

So, God defeats Babylon or the Kings of the WHOLE WORLD. So, God sees this whole evil world as Babylon. And since Babel means confusion what better way to describe men who go to war against their own Creator !! Babylon the great. So, Babylon in Rev. 18 is the whole world, the chapter is prose for the whole world getting judged over a 42 month period of time.

We can see Rev. 18 for what it truly is once we get the parameters down pat. 

In verse 2 it states Babylon (World) is a habitation of devils, and we know Satan is cast down to earth and Apollyon and his Demon hordes are released from the Bottomless Pit. In verse 4 we see God calls His people {Israel} to come out of her lest she partake in her sins and receive of her Plagues. We know that 1/3 of the Jews flee Judea and go to Petra at this time.

In verse 8 we see Babylon (World) is Judged in ONE DAY, well that means the Day of the Lord, which lasts 42 months. then in verse 10 we see Babylon is judged in ONE HOUR and in Rev. 17:12 we see the Kings rule ONE HOUR (42 Months) with the Beast. So, Babylon in Rev. 18 is the Whole World getting Judged by God over a 42-month period of time, the Prose is meant to show that via the Merchants that loved this world and their riches more than they loved God !!

The Merchants = the World in General, they cry and wail because Babylon (World) is burning, they cry that no one is buying their stuff anymore, what that really means is the World is being Judged, God sent an asteroid (Mountain) that takes out a 1/3 of the world, I think the whole Pacific Ocean will be taken out on April 13, 2029 by the asteroid Apophis. 1/3 of the trees burn, most of the grasses burn, 1/3 of the Sea Creatures die, think Pacific Ocean is 1/3 of the waters on earth, 1/3 of the ships are destroyed, 1/3 of the fresh waters etc. 

We know the Anti-Christ will kill 1/4 of all mankind or 2 billion people, and we know the 200 Million Angelic Army will slay 1/3 of those who have taken the Mark of the Beast, so that is maybe another 1 Billion or 1.5 billion. So, their buyers dry up, the trees burn,the world is getting Judged by God. Its just prose, its not one city, it Babylon or Satan's Dark Kingdom on this earth, Babylon falling is Satan losing ownership of this world, being locked in the Bottomless Pit for 1000 years. 

They are tied together, Satan loves any and all worship of any and all gods except the worship of the real God, thus Harlotry is the worshiping of false gods. And she has been co-mingled with these Beast Governments or with Satan's Royal Government hierarchy but in the very end, the Anti-Christ will KILL OFF all these Religions, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism etc. etc. because e wants to be worshiped as the ONLY GOD. That is why the Harlot is hated by the 10 Kings in Rev. 17.
