The False Prophet`s Power Base.

THE FALSE PROPHET`S POWER BASE.

The book of Zechariah is not often discussed, however I believe it has relevance to us today.

 

BACKGROUND

 

Zechariah was a prophet to the remnant of the Jews who returned from Babylon after the 70 years of captivity. His message was one of comfort and encouragement for God`s people that Jerusalem would be rebuilt and one day the Messiah would come. Zechariah prophesied of the Lord`s first coming and also His second coming to deliver Israel finally from their enemies.

 

Zechariah foretells of the Savior more than any other prophet, except Isaiah. The Messiah is the one who `will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.` (Zech. 3: 9) A  `scroll` is shown as a curse going forth to bring judgment `out over the face of the whole earth.` (Zech. 5: 3)

 

These judgments are shown to be - moral (Zech. 5: 4) economic & religious, Zech. 5: 8) and Political, (Zech. 6: 1 - 8)

 

FOCUS: Religion & Economics.

 

I would like just to focus on the `economic & religious` aspect of the judgments in light of what is forming throughout `the face of the whole earth.`

 

`Then the angel who talked with me came out and said to me, “Lift your eyes now, and see what this is that goes forth.” So I asked “What is it?” And he said, “It is a basket that is going forth.” He also said, “This is their resemblance throughout the earth.”

 

Here is a lead disc lifted up, and this is a woman, sitting inside the (ephah) basket.” Then he said, “This is wickedness!” And he thrust her down into the basket and threw the lead cover over its mouth. ` (Zech. 5: 5 - 8)

 

So here we read of a Hebrew idiom,-  a form of expression peculiar to a language especially one having a significance other than the literal one. It is a pictorial illustration for religion & trade, (economics). So let`s look at the main features.

 

Ephah / basket - a measure for grain, and hence a measure in general. (the world economic system)

Woman/wickedness - false religion, especially idolatry.

Lead cover - sealing of the false religion into the economic system.

The judgment here, I believe, is upon the economic system of the `whole earth` that is being motivated by false religion. This false religion is leading the whole world into idolatry, wickedness.  This will eventually lead to the worship of the final Global Leader and only those who do so will be able to `buy and sell,` ie. be in the economic system.

 

POWER BASE FORMING

 

I would like to suggest that this is what is forming right now. This year the WEF, (World Economic Forum) had its yearly conference and made it a `launching pad` for the Great Reset. This is their agenda to reset the economic & social aspects of the world. In January 2021 they will lay out the details and invite governments, multinationals & commercial business, plus NGO`s (non Gov. Org.) and the civil community to all get behind this Great Reset.

 

`Leave no one behind,` is their great mantra plus they have a special focus on the youth telling them to leave the `old ways` and start anew. The motivating force behind this `Great Reset,` is the `religion` of `Mother earth.`

 

`they (ungodly and unrighteous men & women) professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man - and birds and four-footed beasts and creeping things… (creation)

(they) exchanged the truth of God for the lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator…` (Rom. 1: 22 - 25)  

 

The leaders of this great reset are speaking forth this false religion saying there is an imminent danger to the earth, of Climate change and how we all need to focus on fixing the environment. A list of requirements have been set up with more to come on what governments, multinationals etc (everyone) needs to adhere to.

 

A Climate Certification is given to a business etc when they have clearly shown that they have reached `carbon neutrality.` They then proudly show a poster revealing this on their business front, or goods to be sold, or services rendered.

 

This is I believe the forming of this symbolic picture in Zechariah. The `woman,` false religion that is being firmly entrenched into the economic aspect of the world, (cast into the basket).

 

As the false prophet has these two aspects of the global government under his oversight, (religion/worship & buying & selling/economics) I would think that the leader of this `Great Reset,` will be a person to watch.

I saw a commercial recently from Amazon how they are striving to achieve "carbon neutrality".  I'm sure many will see it as the religion of Mother Earth, others will see it as the responsible thing to do.  Regardless of how it's viewed, the certificate will give a preferential advantage to those willing to comply with its terms, similar to the ISO 9000 certification, the difference is that being carbon neutrality will be seen as the righteous thing to do and those who patronize such companies will share in that righteousness.  So, yes, a religion of sorts.  A humanistic one.

What is the ISO 9000 certification? Is that just for the USA?

It's a global certification.  I used to work for a manufacturing plant that was certified.

Thanks. Yes I do recall the set of standards that businesses etc have to have. I didn`t know its name though.
