Where will Christ reign from in the New Heavens and New Earth?

The New Jerusalem is 1500 by 1500 by 1500 miles and covers the entire Arab continental plate. This was all given to Abraham and his descendants. The problem is that Sarah allowed Abraham to have a child with her handmaiden Hagar so they have to share the land with  Isaac the son of promise with Sarah.

This means they have the chemical rights in the ground and the air rights. Airplanes actually fly at 8 miles so 1500 seems excessive but that would include spy satellites in outer space.

I wonder about the 1,000 year reign of Christ. We are told His feet will touch the ground. 

"Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." (Acts 1:11) 

This passage would suggest that He will actually return to the earth. They do talk about the manifest Sons & Daughters of God and this would indicate that Jesus will be Manifest in them the way the Holy Spirit dwells in the Church now. So I wonder about this also.

Hi John,

I agree that the Lord does come down to the earth, however for a short time. Then He will return to the third heaven and rule through Israel over the nations as promised.

Some people say he goes back and forth now and personally takes some people to Heaven.

We know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. (2cor5:8) So I guess that is all we need to know.
