The Jews were thderefore REJECTED as being God's chosen people and given to a people who would produce FRUITS of God's Kingdom, Matt 21:42-44, Matt 23:37,37. That House that Jesus was referring to was the TEMPLE in Jerusalem. Because the Jews KILLED GOD"S own SON, the Chief Agent of life, they, as a nation were rejected. How could anyone who killed God's son remain God's chosen people?? IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Replacement theology.

Where's Shiloh and yod?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

It's more than that, he's basically calling Jews Christ Killers. Oh well, nothing new under the Son

jtartar,

How do you grieve a non-person?

Ephesians 4:30 NASB Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

How does a non-person appear in bodily form?

Matthew 3:16 NASB After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him,

Luke 3:22 NASB and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, "You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased."

So did God descend upon Jesus and then throw His voice in some sort of magical trick? :24:

Shouldn't the following verses say "God" instead of "Holy Spirit?"

Matthew 1:18 NASB Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 1:20 NASB But when he had considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

But for me, the clincher is the following:

Matthew 28:19 NASB "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

So how and why would you baptize someone in the name of someone who doesn't exist?

How do you get filled with an entity that doesn't exist? :24:

Luke 1:15 NASB "For he will be great in the sight of the Lord; and he will drink no wine or liquor, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit while yet in his mother's womb.

As to the Trinity, God and Jesus are TWO. The Bible never says they are equal,...

WRONG! "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who existing in the form of God, did not consider being equal with God a treasure to be grasped," (Phil 2:5-6).

Also read 2 Cr. 4:4; Col. 1:15; and Heb. 1:3.

... and it never even mentions the Holy Spirit as being a person.

WRONG!

Acts 5:3-4, "But Peter said to Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to deceive the Holy Spirit and put aside for yourself some of the proceeds from the land? While it remained, was it not your own? And when it was sold, was it not under your authority? Why is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.

Verse personifies the Holy Spirit, and verse 4 confirms that the Holy Spirit is indeed God. Can you lie to an impersonal force? Of course not!

You sir, are one anti-semite who needs to read your Bible

Mat 20:28

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

John 10:11

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

John 10:17

Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

Luke 23:34

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Funny, the Messiah was able to forgive His persecutors while He was still being persecuted. Over 2,000 years later we have some who still seem to struggle with this.

Your position is so utterly ridiculous and without foundation that I am at a loss for words. Only the High Preist can make the sacrifice of atonement, think about it for juuuust a minute.

Jesus was born a Jew, lived as a Jew, died a Jew, and He was resurrected as a Jew.

How silly to believe that the Lord Jesus was born a Jew, lived as a Jew, died a Jew, and was resurrected as a Christian!

IF you need to find someone to blame for killing Jesus Christ, blame me.

Romans 5

6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

There would have been no need for His sacrifice on my behalf if I wasn't a sinner.

BUT...

Who is really responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ? Who do we indict? What evidence do we have to support our indictment? What are the chances of a conviction?

How about?

How about some specific people ---

please do not spend time looking up things of satan, it only leads a person away from the Lord. the Bible tells us everything we need to know about him, and we are not to obsess ourselves with him...

if we concentrate on the bad, it will consume us, if we concentrate on the good, it also will consume us....

i would rather be consumed by good then bad, by God any day....every day...

not having read any other post i will say this as far as your question i do not believe in such a thing....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
