I suspect that key lime pie, made with real key limes, other limes, or even lemons or unripe lemons would all taste fine, whether they should be called key lime or something else could be debated. They're usually picked while green (unripe) but their ripened color is yellow. They're smaller than other varieties of lime, have more seeds, and a greater acid content. You'll generally find fruits with a higher acid content used in pies. Consider the Meyer lemon, another example of a citrus hybrid with a relatively high acidic content (bitter). I guess this could serve as a bump, only a few days left to pick from the list in the original post. Then on to the real election. Don't believe any rumors you hear about my employing Dominion election machines.
