07-red-sea-crossing.jpg.57bb817e8c09dd4636eed117505cd1b0.jpg

The traditional view holds that they crossed the red sea at Gulf of Suez  but all the facts points to the Gulf of Aqaba and into Saudi Arabia. And not at the Gulf of Suez.

15th Nissan: Israel travelled from Rameses to Succoth. They travelled from Succoth to Etham. At Etham they turned back and came to Pi-hahiroth (mouth of water).

Israel was trapped. Pi-hahiroh was surrounded by mountains that terminated at the sea. These mountains were impassable by reason of their roughness. Israel was shut in by the surrounding mountains and cut off ahead by the sea. Behind them was Pharaoh‘s army.

Three days journey

It was all a three day event. They were marching day and night to get out of the Egyptians territory domain altogether. They knew Pharaoh would be coming after them if they were still in his domain.

In God’s eyes, the exodus of Egypt and the death and resurrection of Jesus are one and the same event. Both events took place at the same time. At the time, they killed the Passover Lamb, Jesus died on the cross. On the 3rd morning after the Passover, at the same moment Israel came out the water, Jesus rose from the dead. At the time Moses stretched out his hand over the sea and the sea returned to its full depth and drowned all Pharaoh’s army, Jesus took the keys of hell and death from Satan and literally stripped him of all his weapons .Both events happened at the same time: while it was still dark before morning Jesus rose from the dead (Exodus 14:27, John 20:1). When morning appear (Hebrew right before the morning). The NIV says: at day break (the last watch before dawn 3-6am)

The distance from Suez Canal to Nuweiba beach - Gulf of aqaba is 336 km (210 miles). In 1967, Moshe Dayan marched his troops on foot over the same area, only he marched only during the day and it took him six days. The Hebrews did not stop and camped every night. They travelled day and night non-stop. They travelled with great speed with supernatural help. An average speed of 2.9 miles per hour with their livestock and belongings. The average person can walk 3 miles per hour without any baggage.

Before them by day in a pillar of cloud was God to lead them on the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel day and night. It was a LONG distance. They had supernatural strength from GOD. he carried them on eagles wings. That in itself is a miracle and a wonder. Man and livestock were travelling day and night non-stop for 3 days.  When they were crossing the red sea, it was in the last watch before dawn 3-6am.

Here is another greater miracle! During the yon Kippur war 1973, the Egyptian army was unable to last more than 3 days in the desert. Yet 2.5 million people survived there for 40 days. At least 2.5 million gallons of water a day would be needed for that number of people. They had provision for the pilgrimage. Manna from heaven every day and water out of the rock that followed after them continually. And their shoes did not wear out.

No wonder the Psalms are so full of the praises of the LORD, what He did for Israel when He brought them out of Egypt. Who is like the LORD? His greatness is unsearchable. He  is mighty to save.

Pharaoh’s army drowned at the place of the Tectonic uplift

Nuweibaal Muzayyinah at the gult of aquba translated waters of Moses opening .That’s where Archaeologist have discovered remains of wheels and parts, remains of man and horses bone. It is littered with Chariots. Nuweiba Beach - the only place on either gulf big enough for millions of Israelites and their herds.

They have also discovered a tectonic uplift at the place of the red sea crossing. As Israel came out of the water in the place of the tectonic uplift, Jesus rose from the dead. The tectonic uplift is also the place where Pharaoh’s army were drowned. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is God’s greatest display of power to the powers of darkness.

Great post @Worship Warriors. Well researched and uplifting!

The Exodus continues to amaze me, from the largest event down to the very smallest.  And it is indeed a parable of our walk today, as Psalm 78 details, which is referenced specifically to the Messiah in Matthew.

May El Elyon bless you further in your studies.

Love & Shalom

The Plan of God Revealed -- Passover and Unleavened Bread

I was thinking about both to see what the LORD is saying with the scriptures, but any views of these events after reading?

We will be in prayer.

Passing through the "Red Sea," the apostle Paul tells us, was a type of "baptism," when we are buried with Christ in the water, and then come up out of the water "in newness of life"

Romans 6:3-4 King James Version (KJV) 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

what about those who have never heard the gospel ? This is a very common question among unbelievers. This is what I have to say to them !

The earth at the end of the Millennium will be in a Garden of Eden condition. Righteousness and truth exploding in the earth, the glory of the LORD covering the earth as the waters covers the sea as Jesus rules over all the earth from Jerusalem. It’s the Garden of Eden back again. Then the Jesus allows the snake back into the Garden to see what man will choose in a perfect condition. Many will make the same choice that Adam made. Man will rebel against God even in a perfect environment.

Its  not the ideal situation that you lacked that kept you from responding to God. Its the fact that you love to sin. That’s why you did not respond.

In Romans 1: God gave the Jews the Torah.

The Torah was intended to show man the depravity of the human heart so that man would run to God for grace to walk and keep in his commandments. But the Jew left the righteousness which is by faith and they went about to establish their own righteousness.God revealed himself to the gentiles in creation and in their conscience. But this is how they responded to God! They responded in idolatry and in immorality . Had there been a response, God would have revealed himself further to them in dream and visions.

That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world.(John 1:9)

Even if they were in the uttermost part of the earth and there was no one to preach the gospel to them. The light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ would have shone on them.

At the GREAT white throne judgment ,God will openly reveal the truth about the depth of human sin: it’s called the mystery of iniquity. There is something in the human heart that hates God.The human race is without excuse. The fact that you did not have a perfect environment: that did not keep you from responding to me. You did not respond because you love to sin.

 The feast of the Lord

Yes, the scripture is full of types. By faith, Israel kept the sprinkling of blood( a type of being saved ). By faith the passed through the red sea ( a type of water baptism ). The christian walk is a pilgrimage . I see this journey reflected in the feast of the Lord as a type. But there are also many other application

Our Pilgrimage:

Fulfilment

in believer

Fulfilment

in believer

Passover

Faith in the blood delivers from death to life

Deliverance from slavery of sin by mighty signs and wonders and divine encounters

Trumpets

The bride becoming a voice and lifting up her voice as a trumpet to declare and decree, to usher in the second coming of the LORD

The bride enters into a new dimension of prophetic worship and warfare as she ministers to the LORD at the altar of incense

Unleavened bread

The bride lives unleavened lives in response, putting off the old man and putting on the new man

Atonement

The bride enters into the holy of holies

First fruits

Presentation of your first love to the LORD.

Tabernacles

The bride dwelling face to face with God in the holy of holies

Pentecost

The bride receive the baptism of fire and with the fire also came the Torah and a rigorous study in the word of God.

Pentecost- Israel had a baptism of fire at Mount Sinai. hey had an encounter with the fire of God. In Acts 2, what happened on the day of Pentecost?  They received the outpouring of the Holy Spirit but they also had an encounter with the God of fire.

The fire of God rested upon them as tongues of fire with the result that the disciples were changed forever. The timid became bold, the weak became strong .Peter who yesterday could not stand the taunt of a servant girl stands and preaches with such power that 3000 souls were saved .

Today, we have the tongues but where is the fire. ?

where is the fire of waiting and watching in prayer?  where are the signs and the wonders. ? Where are the miracles that will cause the multitudes to come into the kingdom? The fire of Pentecost is not obsolete today. Peter in acts 2:16 quoting from Joel said that this promise is unto you and to your children and to all who are afar off

The fire of God will only fall when there is an altar and a sacrifice made by fire.Man is enslaved in sin; only the power of God can set us free. God has made his power available to us through Pentecost. Without the fire of the Holy Spirit and the Torah written on your heart and mind, you cannot even begin your journey to mount Zion, the place of inheritance .The church is camping at Mount Sinai far too long.

Trumpets :

The church becoming a VOICE and not an echo. A voice has an instant impact in the spirit realm. when you declare and decree angels are released and demons are shifted. An echo is just repeating what you have heard- it has little impact. it takes time to become a VOICE.  You have to so consume the word of God so that it becomes implanted in you. The prophets of old like Jeremiah Ezekiel and the apostle John, they all had to eat the scroll before they could prophesy.

I think that the church is in a really bad shape and she does not even know her condition with the exception of a faithful remnant. The church is at still camping at Sinai with the exception of a few remnant . those who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage will appear before God in Zion.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
