His organization just saved a life why do you feel he has to raise the kid and provide medical care? He is only human he cannot do everything their is only so many hours in a day! Why do we who do nothing about abortion critisize people that save babies from childkillers?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

One person is not meant to do it all. That's what we, as Christians, are called to do. Help others.

He is only human. But there are tons more humans to help as well.

ccording to this logic it is the fault of christians that pagans have sex outside marraige and break Gods holy law and it is our duty to pay for the results of their sin! It is much wiser to fight the root of the problem rather than putting a temporary bandaide on the symptoms! But then again inactive christians are famous for throwing stones at active christians to try to make themselves look "spiritual" noidea.gif Their is always plenty of churches more than willing to offer help, this is just a liberal argument used by Godhaters to try to make active christians look bad!

WEll this sure is a hateful response. I'm not sure if calling non-believers "pagans" is the best termonlogy...oh well.

The root of the problem (abortion) is the sin that got them there in the first place. This can be alieved simply by showing the love of Christ to people who do not know any better. Yes, you can stop the murder of a child, but if no action is taken to help the woman who was considering the abortion after the baby has been born, then what has been accomplished? That child may very well grow up in a "pagan" (as you call them) house and end up getting an abortion herself. In other words, you have saved one life only to end the next. You say it is not the Christian's job to pay for the mistake of others? Dear sir, that is what Christianity is founded upon, Christ paying for our mistakes. Helping "sinners" after they have decided not to get an abortion is not putting a bandaide on the problem, it is stitching up a slit artery.

Likewise, what do you consider an "active Christian"? One that sits on a sidewalk and hands out litature? While active in a way, I would dare ask you how it is any more active than the person that takes care of a woman who was going to have an abortion. I dare ask you how a person who takes care of those that cannot take care of themselves is a Godhater or a liberal. If that is your idea of a Godhater or a liberal, then I should hope to be ranked among the worst of them.

It is always wise to murder a baby because of what might happen!

No one advocated that. What was advocated is that even if you save a life, what good is it if you do nothing to continue the protection? Even the good Samaritan didn't just bandage the wounded man and leave him there. He took him to where he could recieve help.

comparing apples to oranges! Totally different subject, we are speaking of murdering babies!

And if we do not reach out to these people with more than "do not kill" we will have empty families with a whole host of other problems. You can stop the murder of a baby, but if you do nothing after this, what has been accomplished?

No I am defending pro-lifers from critical attackes by people who act "spiritial" but do nothing!
I'm not sure if calling non-believers "pagans" is the best termonlogy...oh well.

In the case of this topic we can describe them truthfully as childkillers
The root of the problem (abortion) is the sin that got them there in the first place. This can be alieved simply by showing the love of Christ to people who do not know any better
You got it all figured out dont you, now you are accusing pro-lifers of not showing the love of christ, I am sure they will be joyfull about that!
Yes, you can stop the murder of a child, but if no action is taken to help the woman who was considering the abortion after the baby has been born, then what has been accomplished?
Pro-lifers do all these things who are you to accuse them? Are you out on the street getting involved or just sitting back on the sidelines making yourself look "spiritual" casting stones?
That child may very well grow up in a "pagan" (as you call them) house and end up getting an abortion herself. In other words, you have saved one life only to end the next
You are right lets not save the life in the first place, lets just sit back and critisize pro-lifers!
You say it is not the Christian's job to pay for the mistake of others? Dear sir, that is what Christianity is founded upon, Christ paying for our mistakes. Helping "sinners" after they have decided not to get an abortion is not putting a bandaide on the problem, it is stitching up a slit artery.

Have you done this personally? Since you have it all figured out! Some people are called to a mercy ministry, others are called to a more aggressive reformed ministry!
I would dare ask you how it is any more active than the person that takes care of a woman who was going to have an abortion.
I have a problem with the fact you are critisizing active pro-lifers, I have no problem with anyone who is called to a mercy ministry. Your ad-hominums may work on the uninformed but they will not work on me!
What was advocated is that even if you save a life, what good is it
It is a baby created in the image of God!
Even the good Samaritan didn't just bandage the wounded man and leave him there. He took him to where he could recieve help.
Again what are you doing about abortion besides critisizing the people that dedicate their lives trying to do something!
And if we do not reach out to these people with more than "do not kill" we will have empty families with a whole host of other problems. You can stop the murder of a baby, but if you do nothing after this, what has been accomplished?

That's the third time you've accused Mikado of "doing nothing". You have no knowledge of what he does or does not do regarding the abortion issue and no right to judge him so harshly. And he isn't "acting Spiritually", he's giving his thoughts and opinions, same as you are.

You yourself lamented that "you wished you could do more". How would you feel if you were judged as harshly as you judge and someone said to you - "That's just an excuse, it's a life or death matter, stop wishing, stop "acting Spiritually" and DO". ?? You wouldn't like it, so please consider the feelings of the poster you keep slamming and falsely accusing. Mikado made a very good point that getting them to turn from the abortion is only the beginning and not the WHOLE. If, the next day, that girl realizes that she has no income and no money to pay medical costs, and/or no family to support her and will be out on the street, then she will turn around and head right back to the abortion mill to solve her problem. The REALITY will hit her after the EMOTION from a few tracts has worn off.

Kudos to anyone who is reaching women at the abortion mills. I applaud them. I've done that work many, many times so I know what it is like. Mikado was only saying that we must be diligent not to let it stop there, or we are neglecting the whole of the ministry.

Yes I have the right to defend pro-lifers and I will! I garantee you if this guy was a pro-lifer he would not accuse other pro-lifers of not doing enough after experiencing the discouragement that is involved in this line of work! He put his foot in his mouth and now he needs a women to come to his rescue!
You yourself lamented that "you wished you could do more".

I suppose this sums up every single case of abortion? I suppose all childkillers are the victims and none of them have lived an immoral lifestyle looking for an easy way out?
Mikado was only saying that we must be diligent not to let it stop there, or we are neglecting the whole of the ministry.
WRONG he was accusing pro-lifers of not doing enough, so I have the God given right to ask him what he is doing! I have freinds that have gotton locked up for shutting down abortion mills and saving many preborn, I will defend them from accusers "acting spiritual". UNAPOLOGETICALLY!

1Co 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

I don't think everyone must do every job in a given ministry. I think being used of God in the saving of an innocent life is a wonderful thing. I don't see why this good thing is being lessened here.

If your attitude towards "childkillers" is anything like your attitude towards fellow believers here, I sincerely doubt you've been "reaching" anyone at all.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
