If we love God we will obey His commandments including praying for people who dont like us. This is Godhead.

As one who struggled with emotions for many years I recognize that you face a similar battle, @Caitlin _. I see the truth reflected in your posts.  

Never fear, my young friend. The Lord is not only greater than this world and the enemy of our souls, but He is also greater than our emotions which are fickle and change like the breeze. We change but the Lord never changes... He is eternal. 

Don't you know that Jesus Christ is intimately acquainted with our suffering, Caitlin? God remembers that our frame is dust and so we have a friend and advocate in the Son of God. I know this is difficult for you but remember these words in the days to come:

There will come a time when you will rejoice in the knowledge that God's love for you is eternal and unchanging as He Himself is. That day will come for you!
