hey all I thought this would be a good spot to post this. So wht do you believe. Do you think there is a rapture, or do you think we christian will have to endure until he Jesus comes to rain? I'm not really sure, I was reading revelations the other day and I attend two different churches, and they have different views. I don't see where it says there is a rapture. But I still hope there might be one.

The word 'rapture' is not used in the Bible, but it is the word that it given to moment we as Christians are taken up by Christ in his second coming. 1st Corinthians 15 speaks about the resurrection of the dead, and the taking up of Christians when the last trumpet sounds...

So, do I believe in the rapture, yes I do. And when He toots, I'm going to scoot!!

it is my belief that although we should keep watch for the signs of the times. but otherwise, i don't believe we should concentrate on the trib and second coming of Christ. i do belief that we should live life as if that coming were to occur tomorrow. i think people can become too involved in the end times that they forget what Jesus commanded us in the first place - to be a witness.

#1, I have looked and looked for scripture that would lead me to believe that there is a pre tribulation rapture, but I just don't see it in there. I do hope that there is one and ask the Holy Spirit to keep me ready to go, but alas I also have made myself ready to stay. That seems to be the harder part..... to spiritually build up the strength to struggle through. The struggle through seems to be what scripture tells me that I will have to do.

Whatever, I don't think it will be long before we know for sure.

we must through much tribulation enter the kingdom of g-d.

I agree. :)

I agree as well! Let me explain:

When I was married- I went through the terrible and dreadful tribulation. But when I divorced- I felt raptured away from all that misery. :)

So yes- we will have to endure the tribulation- but not forever. :)
