Yes, sometimes what "white" people did to others was unrighteous; but, there was also a lot of good, which needs to be acknowledged as well.  Not only that, but there is not a level playing field in this blame game, since the "blacks" are being portrayed only as poor, downtrodden victims; whereas, the truth is rather different.

European explorers, when they reached Africa, found an already flourishing slave trade, being carried out by indigenous people.  They exploited this, which was wicked, but they were certainly not the originators, nor the only ones practising it.  This is just one example of balance that we don't hear very often.

It is entirely unrighteous to refuse help to poor farmers, based on the amount pigment in their skin.  What happened in the past is irrelevant and nothing to do with the people who are alive today.

I was only speaking to your comment that I quoted, not the larger picture, which I don't have problems with.

I speak mainly out of the experience of the indigenous people of Canada which, while government sanctioned, was carried out by religious organizations to eliminate the indigenous culture. This was conducted over multiple generations and was probably unnecessary as Christianity was actually quite attractive to these people. Sure, many did receive good formal European style education, but the social consequences have been enormous which we still have to deal with today and going forward.

I have worked in West Africa so I am aware of the history there as well.

I don't know what happened to the indigenous people of Canada; but, if the U.S. is anything to go by, I suspect that a lot of it was not good.

It's different, but the results were about the same. The US was a bit more aggressive, or in-your-face, about it.

Beware of embracing the causes of this world. We know that injustice is their custom just as thefts, murders, slander, revenge, and deceit are also time-honored traditions. The oppressed become the oppressors, seeking vengeance against those who persecuted them; the ones who oppressed the vengeful cry out, claiming they did no wrong.

Be wise as serpents. Study the history of man in order to grasp that injustice is indeed the custom from one generation to the next. Injustice is the way and even causes which are proclaimed as just, are not just but rather born of error and vengeance.

Be harmless as doves. Accuse no one, seeking to make peace instead of blessing vengeance. Don't take sides because this doesn't serve peace but only fans the flames of strife which defines the nations of this earth. Never answer evil with evil.

Is this too hard? So many are snared by the cares of this world, a pursuit which the Lord has much to say about. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. I remember Paul's rebuke of the Corinthians. They were no different from the unbelievers, taking each other to court to be judged by unbelievers.

Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather let yourselves be cheated? (1 Corinthians 6:7 NKJV)

We should accept wrong, then, especially when the trespass is against ourselves. Of course this is foolishness to worldly wisdom which teaches us that one must fight for justice and never accept wrong. That's not what the Lord teaches us to do.

There are a few things to consider regarding this lawsuit. First, it is true that there is roughly a $5 billion portion of the gigantic COVID relief bill that designated for farmers of color. Tucker (who technically is entertainment, and not news) obviously will not mention two other critical points, because he will never discuss a story from more than the single and focused angle of his intended audience. Farmers of color have been discriminated against in lending for decades. This was confirmed by a 2019 report by the US Government Accountability Office (https://www.gao.gov/assets/gao-19-539.pdf). Tucker will also not mention that the total amount of money going to agriculture is over $10 billion. In other words, farmers of color are prioritized, but there is a LOT of aid available to white farmers, as well.

If thats true, it doesn't make racism against whites right. This is racism and will only divide the country more. You either treat everyone the same or you discriminate which is illegal.

Lori Lightfoot, the democrat mayor of Chicago will not take interviews from white reporters. This act of racism is going backwards folks, its not progress. Critics say she wants to avoid answering tough questions. Democrats are always shielded against such questioning.

I didn't say racism against whites was right. I explained why it wasn't racism.

It is racism. Prioritizing one race over another is wrong. Everyone should be treated equally. This is what democrats call progress but its actually going backwards not forwards. There is no reason to discriminate against whites or blacks. Its wrong no matter who does it or why. Treat everyone equally, that's the law and its right.

Give all farmers equal treatment, anything less is racism and discrimination.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
