OK--I get what you are laying down, but let's follow your logical argument as it stands in your dynamic.

How many were left alive at the flood event? 8 souls?

That means that all other humans and critters perished.

Does the tribulation that you envision to come in the future exceed that in some way?

I'm curious.

The slaughtering [Beheading] will be BILLIONS of people.

Tell me when that feat has ever happened before?

lol! I have not asserted a doctrine.

You're still ignoring historical Fact!

The Jerusalem 70 A.D. is not equal to Genghis Khan's slaughter of 250k dead per month in 5 years totaling 15 million deaths.  The only feat bigger than that will be the [Beheading].   Jerusalem is a drop in the bucket and nothing more!

Let's try the presuppositional approach again.

You have agreed God is sovereignly attributed and satan has absolutely no power over God. Yes? We're in complete agreement on that point?

I don't buy it because in order to have your viewpoint I have to accept John was in Patmos before 70 A.D. when Roman Archive tells us he was there by Domitian in 90 A.D. and released by Nerva.

It was from the Jews' pov.

And nothing you've posted proves otherwise. Your entire argument is anglo-centric, human-centric, and future-oriented. I'm not the one ignoring historical fact (or selectively ignoring ancient historians)

It was from JOSEPHUS the Traitors view, you know, the second Judas by which Jews still call him!

Some examples of who you are choosing to believe!

“The luckiest traitor ever,” in the words of the historian Mary Beard, Flavius Josephus was a first-century Jewish general who threw in his lot with the Roman legions that destroyed his homeland.Mar 28, 2018

He had divorced his third wife, married an aristocratic heiress from Crete, and given Roman names to his children. He had written an official history of the revolt and was loathed by the Jews as a turncoat and traitor.

Josephus was a clever, aristocratic traitor who sold out his own people in the name of patriotism. He lived in luxury nearly all his life, and enjoyed being famous.

I encourage you to read "Before Jerusalem Fell" by Ken Gentry. He documents all the relevant information to prove the eary date for Revelation and his book is in fact changing our understanding as you and I exchange posts. You're working with old (liberal) information. Roman archives do not report John on Patmos under Domitian. That is a complete falsehood and you should be as critical of those sources as you are of my posts, Josephus' history and everything else you read.

And you're still not disproving anything I have posted.

I encourage you to look up Roman Archive!

Mary Beard

Shortly after the 11 September 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, Beard was one of several authors invited to contribute articles on the topic to the London Review of Books. She opined that many people, once "the shock had faded", thought "the United States had it coming", and that "[w]orld bullies, even if their heart is in the right place, will in the end pay the price".[23] In a November 2007 interview, she stated the hostility these comments provoked had still not subsided, though she believed it had become a standard viewpoint that terrorism was associated with American foreign policy.[5] By this point she was described by Paul Laity of The Guardian as "Britain's best-known classicist".

From Roman Archive:

1. With an imperial gesture, Domitian orders his men to throw John into a cauldron of boiling oil, shown on the right. John emerges unharmed.

2. reign of Domitian

Almost all New Testament scholars now take the view that Revelation was written during the reign of Domitian, sometime around 95-96 CE. He is the "beast from the sea" beyond doubt.

3. The text of Revelation states that John was on Patmos, a Greek island where, by most biblical historians, he is considered to have been exiled as a result of anti-Christian persecution under the Roman emperor Domitian.

4.
94 AD

In 94 AD, the 14th year of the reign of Emperor Domitian, the elderly John the Apostle was exiled to the island of Patmos.Dec 12, 2018

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
