Amen!

But we can pray for the Seeker so that our Examples are not what keeps them from God.   We can pray they will still find God past our Examples.

Oh yes Brother, I have done that on my non Christian site, I tried to lead by Jesus example on that site, I failed miserably, but, when I ask the Holy Spirit to lead me by His example, I can see change in my example, it’s all about the Lord, I’m just a vessel that he uses, which thrills me when he uses me,.....Praise God!......who deserves all of the Glory! ?

Red colouring can mean a variety of things. There is a member who identifies as Catholic and is red. I think there is an atheist member who is also red.

And we're able to pray for them ALL!

Good to see you GeoTeddy!

Red coloring (see, that is how you spell it unless you spell flavor flavour) where? On the member name? I'm ignorant of this apparently. I just checked my profile and I don't remember a place where you "identify" as Catholic or otherwise. Maybe that was on the sign up form originally but that was before yesterday when I filled that out.

Blessings,

Hey WiA,

Colour, flavour, etc. respects the source language of the word.  :)

Anyway, I don't recall ever selecting anything when signing up. I think there is a progression, as I am now purple on my profile as "Diamond Member" - whatever that means (but not on the main fora),  I've just noticed it on a couple members who identify either outside of Protestantism or religion in general have their screen names in red.

If you click on Worthy christian forums, when that page loads, scroll down to who is online, then run the cursor to any name and it it will give a box with general information of that Member, and you will notice the Member names are colored.   But below that is Members offline.   And within that conglomeration of Names, several are red.   Just run your cursor and it tells you in the pop up box if they're Seeker/Catholic/Non Conformist/Etc.

It's come to my attention looking at the names of Members online, some have special coloring from light gray, black, light blue, dark blue, red.   After clicking on those with red I discovered the title of Seeker, which I suppose could mean agnostics trying to discover their belief in God.   But something did shock me about a few of the Seekers here.  They've been here over 5 years and are still [seeking] for the truth.   That left me with some immediate questions.

The Bible tells us hearing/reading the Word of God is how we become Believers in God, because this is where the Holy Spirit intervenes between God and God's Creation.

1) Since there's no preaching/teaching on this site, how long would a Seeker need to read thread after thread before the Holy Spirit sends God's invitation?

2) If a Seeker has been here more than 5 years, does that mean Believers as Members here [are not] being true examples so the seeker would desire to accept Christ?

3) What can we as Believers do better so that Seekers want what we profess to have?

1. There is preaching and teaching on Worthy. A person needs to have Christian discernment to pick out the false teaching.

2. It is their choice if after being on Worthy 5 years they have not yet come to Christ. We have many choices in our life. We either spend eternity in heaven or in hell.

3. It is not up to us to save a person. That is God's job to change the heart. All we can do it to post the true literal Word of God and pray for them.

AMEN!

Which is why I am urging us Believers to begin praying for the Seekers so God will intervene.

There are different shades of red for the different groups, the point of this is so that we might know who we are speaking to, and ministering to.

The rest of the colors and name categories under the username are simply part of the software, and is seen on other message boards too.  The color changes according to post count.

As for seekers and atheists reading and replying here is some scripture on it.

1 Corinthians 14:24 (NIV)
But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all,

Same verse paraphrased (LB)
But if you prophesy, preaching God’s Word, even though such preaching is mostly for believers, and an unsaved person or a new Christian comes in who does not understand about these things, all these sermons will convince him of the fact  that he is a sinner, and his conscience will be pricked by everything he hears.

Let's pray for Conviction then!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
