All sorts of false stories make perfect sense. That doesn't mean they are true. Perhaps if these guys had not spoken I would be more likely to believe the "official" story they want me to believe.

BTW, Is this your field of study? I'm completely willing to consider that dunning kruger is in effect here.

I earned my PhD in a Virology lab, but I've been a Biology professor teaching undergrads for the last 22 years, so I'm a bit rusty!

Well, I think I may be guilty of a little dunning Kruger here, then. I'm going to assume that the evidence for "natural" is much stronger than I formerly believed. Need to do more reading - but not years worth.

Some people that are not very familiar with how these investigative processes work are frustrated that there hasn't yet been a discovery of an evolutionary pathway from viruses that are currently observed in nature and the SARS-CoV-2, but it is extremely difficult and laborious. The scientific community happened to get lucky with SARS 1 and MERS, but it is difficult sleuth work. There is still no obvious trail for how Ebola crossed over into humans, for example.

It is sort of like finding a needle in a haystack - but with haystacks scattered all over the Asian continent, and you don't really know what the needle looks like until you get it back to the lab for inspection.

Due to that site's position on global warming, I can't take them seriously as an information source. Don't get me wrong. They have a nice "we are the good guys that don't have a bias" vibe, kinda like NPR, which is comically biased, but I just have a hard time reading their stuff that I DO know something about (AGW) without laughing.

I did read the article though. And like I said, it has a "we are the good guys that don't have a bias" vibe, but since I don't trust them, it falls on deaf ears.

It’s really a shame that you will choose to ignore evidence because it is printed in a source you don’t like. That does explain a lot, though.

No. I didn't ignore it. I read it and considered the source in the "opinion" part of the information. Because I'm a binary thinker - which brings its strengths and weaknesses - it is fairly easy for me to separate fact from opinion in an article. This is what used to cause me to want to throw a shoe at my TV during the news casts back before I got rid of TV in 1997. The article you posted contained facts, but it was really an opinion piece. 

And frankly, as I've said for decades, news sources are not just biased in how they report, but in what they choose to report. In fact, the latter may be where they expose the most bias. Hence my comment earlier on what news sources were NOT included in my search on that earlier story.

Thing is, I consider the whole virus response to actually be phase two of what they were trying to do to us with that whacky Global warming scam. There is a serious international "war" over the last several decades, not between conservatives and liberals/socialists, but between globalists and nationalists. I won't get into the merits of either, but that is the true battle being fought with all this stuff. IMO. 

And I see it from a Christian and prophesy perspective.
