but the jews do not love God or serve him.

And you are qualified to make that assessment? You are able to look in each of their hearts and know for sure?

They will receive as they always have for not trusting God punishment.

What makes you think this is punishment? You are pretty presumptuous. The fact is that Jesus said that rain falls on the just and the unjust. Sometimes bad things happen because mankind is inherently evil. Sometimes the evil we see in this world is man's oppression of his fellow man, and not necessarily the judgment of God.

They are an instrument used by God.
You need to study the conlfict and the Bible a bit better. You know just enough of both to be dangerous.

Babylon, Egypt, Rome, Philistine, Persia, and others were also instraments of God. They all also subsequently died after their use was up while Israel lived and learned.

So what is your point igh, that we should support the palestinians who are doomed to death by attacking Israel?

The Palestinians are an instrment of satan, But God can even use that if he wants to. And Like all things from satan it will lead to suffering and death. How sad for an entire people to be so enthroled in satan. Unless they find Christ in their lives their future is very very dim.

Agreed, just arguing from igh's logic to show that, even under his way of thinking, his conclusion is flawed.

Just because God allows evil people to make their choices, and then uses these choices for His glory, does not take away the responsability the plo has for the crimes they commit.

I believe all this is the work of God. It is also Ironic that the Palestinians now have Gaza but they actually imprisoned themselves. Those in Gaza does not have access to the West Bank which is where their temple is and also many in gaza have jobs in Jerusalem. They first celebrated this victory but in the end it really wasn't a victory.

God knows what he is doing. And its all for a purpose. Israel is coming back and growing, which is what needs to be done for prophesy to be fulfilled. Palestine cannot be their own state if its split in the middle. This land is the land promised to Israel and God never takes back His promises. :emot-hug:

We all know that this pull out won't bring peace.

I really feel for the settlers who are losing their homes.

I wouldn't know what to do if I was told to leave my home by my own government.

I would definitely feel betrayed.

I think we all should keep all those people in our prayers. They are losing everything.

I haven't heard anything on christian TV or radio on the significance of this major event.

What does it mean prophetically?

Any thoughts?

Hello nebula:

Jesus declared that the last state of the Jews would be worse than the first.

Matt 12:43-45 But the unclean spirit, when he is gone out of the man, passeth through waterless places, seeking rest, and findeth it not.

Then he saith, I will return into my house whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man becometh worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this evil generation.

Plainer still does Jesus set forth the future of national Israel in the parable of the wicked husbandmen:

Matthew 21:33-43

33 Hear another parable: There was a man that was a householder, who planted a vineyard, and set a hedge about it, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into another country.

34 And when the season of the fruits drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, to receive his fruits.

35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them in like manner.

37 But afterward he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

38 But the husbandmen, when they saw the son, said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and take his inheritance.

39 And they took him, and cast him forth out of the vineyard, and killed him.

40 When therefore the lord of the vineyard shall come, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will let out the vineyard unto other husbandmen, who shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner; This was from the Lord, And it is marvelous in our eyes?

43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

44 And he that falleth on this stone shall be broken to pieces: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will scatter him as dust.

45 And when the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

46 And when they sought to lay hold on him, they feared the multitudes, because they took him for a prophet.

The meaning of this parable is easy: In the O.T. God let His vineyard out to the nation of Israel. They did not yield the fruits of obedience. He sent his servants, the prophets, to exhort them, but they were mistreated and rejected.

Then God sent His Son

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
