1% is one in a hundred..

So 0.1% would be one in a thousand..

and 0.01% would be one in ten thousand?

My maths is a little rusty though..  But that is my understanding?

OK, if there is about 300 million people in the USA, and 297 people have died can you see how that is roughly one in a million died?

You are mixing up your facts. Over 600,000 people have dies in the United States from COVID. The 297 was the number of children that have died. There are not 300 million children in the United States.

Oh, that's not my link nor my claim. 

My claim is that 99.9% of kids survive Covid 19 so they don't need vaccines, and One.Opinion posted that 297 had died, and that number would be one in a million.  It would be less than 1 in a million if 99.9% of all people in the USA survived Covid 19.

Regardless, the point is that vaccines are not the cure for kids.  Leaving them alone, is the cure.

Sorry.  Truly not trying to argue.  But am a bit confused.

In order to survive a disease.. whether cancer or tuberculosis or malaria or something.. one would first have to have had that disease?

Out of all children in the Usa known to have had Covid disease.. one in every ten thousand of them died?

(Again please please understand..  I am truly not trying to argue..  But was just puzzled because of the maths?  Thanks )

Not if One.Opinion's claim is right of 297 kids dying, to date.  It would be one in a million, not one in ten thousand.
