I guess you don't read my posts carefully. Michael has a doctorate degree in Hebrew and several other degrees in languages and comparative religions. (He's a really smart dude.) He has shown where and how the Bible seems to say that the earth is flat, and explains that it does so because that was the general cosmology at the time the Bible was pinned. It uses words and phrases that people would understand to make a point. But the points the Bible makes in those times is not a science book. Describing things in visions. But no he does not believe the earth is flat, just that a person can get that idea from the Bible if it's taken literally. Most of the negative things I have read about him concerned who the old testament sons of God are. The first rule of hermeneutics is to read the Bible literally.
