Heaven and a spiritual Rapture

Here is something new to think about

SECOND DAY

Genesis 1

6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

The second day of creation God created the expanse or the separation of water from the earth into the sky to form clouds. We do not always see the expanse between earth and sky but we know it is there and we even breathe it. God called this heaven. This points to the third heaven that is in the Spirit realm. The second heaven was created on the four day. The third heaven can be seen in our relationship with God as our Spirit ascends like water into the air, this is what the meaning of being caught up to meet the Lord in the clouds is about. By faith when we were baptized in water we died with Christ. Than as Christ rose from the dead, our Spirit separated from the earthly things into the heavenly things just like water expanding into the air. As clouds are formed by the expanse of water, we come together in fellowship with Christ and each other in the Spirit. Then as rain comes back to the earth we are sent into the world to give it life, with Christ

That means the third heaven has a few problems in it like, what happens after the 1,000 years when Satan is released from the Abyss for a short time to try and deceive the nations is just one problem.

Actually the New Jerusalem from what I perceive in Scripture is after the 1000 year reign of Christ. I sincerely doubt that the 3rd heaven has problems in it.

Well my friend, I believe this means that I have acces to God's throne right now and anytime I want!!

Seated in heavenly places is referring to our SPIRITUAL position as soon as we become a believer in Christ. This means we have at our disposal HIS authority to deal with the enemy if we so choose. "Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19.

Regarding being seated in heavenly places:

I think a great deal of the Bible is written in the future tense, so to speak. This statement is a promise to us, sealed by the Holy Spirit, in other words, we are guaranteed this heavenly seat.

God speaks to us from eternity, and in the light of eternity this promise is already come to pass. Meanwhile we just have to do our time...........

George is right Brad, on the new Jerusalem and the fact that we are seated with Christ Jesus and have authority in Him.

I don't think of the things of the Spirit being just in our head or heart or whatever, I know it's hard to imagine something that is not physical, just remember that the spiritual is more tangible--if that's the right word--than the physical that we know, it is another dimension, but a very REAL dimension.

I never said we weren't seated with Christ. Quite the opposite, I was saying that though that is in the spiritual realm, we can claim that authority right now in the physical realm.
