Broach a subject and I will point you to the Cross, Resurrection and Ascension.

Discuss sin and I will point you there.

Mention holiness and again I will lead you there.

There is no safer ground to stand in than the Cross of Christ. No greater measure of Revelation than by Resurrection life and no greater means to glorify the Father  - than by being ascended in Christ as He is ascended to His right hand - and in that place to know the Father in a semblance of seeing as through a glass - yet to know Christ in His fulness by the Holy Spirit.

I have scarcely heard the truth of it in a single pulpit in near 40 years. Every means possible to present only shadows is pressed until in the end nothing save for the childish Cross of Christ crucified for sin remains - and even that is proving insufficient for the effect that is upon many believers.

To speak of the fulness is to render yourself as a mad man - it is to refuse the world and to be seen as though you were refusing life itself in consideration of needing to bear with the flesh of men who's demands are endlessly waring against the Spirit.

The greatest truth that those who are born of God can receive is to know that in Christ, the Father has made an end of the old man and has given us a new creature in Him - even Christ raised from the dead and ascended into heaven - seated down at His right hand and coming again in His glory to partake in His eternal kingdom - yet now in this garment of our flesh to become the servant of all.

Yes---although it is and has been preached.

:-)

This is why I live there, Kelly and if there is anything the Lord has given me to do there it is.

As I have said many times--all doctrine, theology and understanding 'must' bow to the Cross, Resurrection and Ascension.

If something is taught that does not---then the Cross will answer. From death to Life. I absolutely love to speak of those things and I agree, it doesn't get the space it should.

Paul pointed a long finger when he stated: I determined to know nothing but Christ Crucified among you. His loftiest writing in Romans, Ephesians and Colossians and one could opine Galatians---is an exposition of the depth of what God Almighty accomplished.

Why did Christ come and by what means did He do what was required? What was required to bring about God's "Eternal Purpose".

Praise the LOrd---indeed!

People are at different places in their journeys with the Lord. I have long been inspired by this:

From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matt 4:17 RSV

--4:2-- moreover it is  --required-- in stewards that a man be found faithful

PSALM 119:86  all thy commandments --are faithful-- they persecute me wrongfully help thou me

PSALM 119:138  thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and --very faithful--

PSALM 119:119  thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross therefore I love thy testimonies

ACTS 3:26  unto you first  GOD  having raised up  HIS  SON  JESUS  sent  HIM  to bless you in turning away everyone of you from his iniquities

2 TIMOTHY 2:19  nevertheless the foundation of  GOD  standeth sure having this seal  THE  LORD  knoweth them that are  HIS  and let every one that nameth the name of --CHRIST-- depart from iniquity

--2:21--  if -- a man therefore purge himself from these he shall be a vessel unto honor sanctified and meet for the masters use ---and prepared unto every good work---

HEBREWS 9:15  and for this cause  HE  is the mediator of the new testament that by means of death for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance

Watchman Nee is very good on that kind of thing.

Yes he is. I was fortunate in that within  few weeks of being born again, the Lord led me to read Nee. And read I did.

That was in 1975.

That foundation has been a great blessing all of these years. He must be viewed at times as being from the far east, but the Lord loves diversity within the Body.

When the Lord teaches a thing---He teaches a thing.

I would say that the truth of the Cross, Resurrection and Ascension has been invaluable in the face of much opposition over the decades.

God is Good, brother.

Yes I know that brother. I have written a great deal about Ni Tuoshen (Watchman Nee) in the past and spent several years addressing the awful condemnation by Xu Mei Li in seeking to destroy his work and testimony in the United States. Like @Alive I too received Nee's work into my hands when I was first saved. I see now why Alive was awake to that element of what I have written that speaks into the ministry of Nee.

The Cross of Christ, where the intersecting conflict between God and His Adversary is resolved, with the Good News of the end of its beginning and the beginning of its end heralding hope for all Creation.

Rom 8:18-21  For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  (19)  For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.  (20)  For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;  (21)  because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Col 1:15-23  He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.  (16)  For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.  (17)  And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.  (18)  And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.  (19)  For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,  (20)  and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.  (21)  And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled  (22)  in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—  (23)  if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
