Tim...you know me, I think you've come to the conclusion I'm a rational thinker. I'm slow to say something is an "act of God" or anything like that. I'm very critical of things like that. But for me, the evidence is just overwhelming on this...even journalists are calling it an act of God because it's just an anomoly in how hurricans develope.

They just reported that the sky has 'suddenly darkened"and "opened up to a downpour", hopefully they say those who are scoffing will change their minds and get to safety, but will they listen?????

I know mate But- I'm a critical thinker though I just don't know. Part of me thinks that what you and Zayit are saying is right ( and I can't argue with the mechanics of the storm- they are what they are- right ? ) and yet part of me doesn't. I guess I'll hold firm to the Bible and Romans 8:28 and let our Lord take care of His purposes.

Yeah, they were talking about it on the news. It went from a category 1 to a category 2 whilst over land.

I heard differently - that it downgraded back to a tropical storm, but was predicted to regain strength as it went back into the warm Gulf waters.

One thing is for sure - it sure jumped up to a Category 5 aweful fast!
