I turned it off and didn't know if I should laugh or cry

Much, if not most CCM is now owned by private secular companies and some churches weirded out on strange doctrines. Just another label under the record company tree. Churches must pay a fee to them for every time the display a lyric or sing one of their songs. Something has always rubbed me wrong about that. Even as a part time musician who realizes musicians need to be paid to eat. Maybe music was never intended to be a well paid pursuit and instead is here to be shared as a universal thing. But what do I know?

Are those lyrics you penned? They are pretty good actually.

i penned pretty much all the second verse and changed a couple of words in the rest
