Are you JW?

I read the Bible and follow what's in it...

I've stated above in this post quite a few times what I believe in. But here it is again...

I believe in the Bible, the WHOLE Bible. I don't believe any of the Commandments have been done away with. I don't believe the "Old Testament" was done away with.

I believe Yeshua is the only begotten Son of a human Mother and the ONLY ONE and TRUE God YeHoVah (not Jehovah, that should tell you something).

I believe Yeshua died on the cross, being accused by Pharasees and Saducees and killed by Romans. Yeshua fulfilled 547 "Old Testament" prophecies that point or describe the Messiah.

I believe by His death on the cross, He fulfilled the Levitical Priesthood blood sacrifice for all who have sinned.

I believe He died, was placed in a tomb. He then and rose from the tomb 3 days and 3 nights later. Therefore, I too may be raised from the dead.

Only through Yeshua, do we have "the righteousness" to enter into the kingdom.

I do not believe in salvation by works. The Blood of Yeshua is the only thing that saves us. However, I believe as the Word states, "Faith without Works is Dead".

I do not give any credence to vain pagan based traditions such as Christ-Mass, Easter or Halloween. I have stated numerous reasons in the first several posts. Over 120 witnesses (another name for scriptures).

And yet...

Matthew 15:3 through 6 - And He answered and said to them, “Why do you yourselves transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?

Mark 7:9 through 13 - He was also saying to them, “You are experts at setting aside the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition.

Colossians 2:8 - See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.

Colossians 2:20 through 22 - If you have died with Christ to the elementary principles of the world, why, as if you were living in the world, do you submit yourself to decrees, such as, “Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!” (which all refer to things destined to perish with use)—in accordance with the commandments and teachings of men?

Titus 1:13 through 14 - This testimony is true. For this reason reprove them severely so that they may be sound in the faith, not paying attention to Jewish myths and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.

Galatians 4:9 through 11 - But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? You observe days and months and seasons and years. I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored over you in vain.

All Scriptures in context speaking about vain traditions, all the while foregoing Commandments of God...

But you really didn't answer my question. Are you JW? yes or no.

Were my stated beliefs compatible with what is stated here?

If you open the link it actually answers the question. Your method of debate is flawed, in that your trying to discredit the other person based upon their denomination, and not actual evidence and facts.

Its flawed because even if she was, it doesnt prove or disprove her argument as there are some things jws do get right.

You are attempting to debate the person and not the subject. That never gets anyone anywhere. Its always best to stick to actual facts and evidence. Theres plenty to choose from including many gaping holes in her arguments if one were to take the time to read them all, which i have.

If one cannot seperate the person from the argument then maybe its time to walk away from it, or at least re-evaluate ones approach. Just my .02 cents.

A simple question requires a simple answer.

JW? or any other denomination? No, I am not... I have no denomination. I trust no man/woman. Only the Word.

Yeshua did not say go out and "make churches", He said to Go out and make Disciples.

Yeshua did not say to "follow men", He said, "Follow Me"...

I will Follow Him. I will obey His Commandments.

I reject the ways of this world. I will stay firm in my Faith as a believer worshiping the Father in Spirit and in Truth in a world that wants to try to serve him in lies and rebellion...

Thank you for your honest answer.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
