Rom. 8:18 (NAS20S)   For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 For the eagerly awaiting creation waits for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 23 And not only that, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons and daughters, the redemption of our body. 24 For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.

Rom. 8:26 (NAS20S)   Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;

Amen! As an intercessor, I experience daily that the Holy Spirit "groans" etc through me, and sometimes I can only cry 😭 until I feel His wonderful Peace/Shalom, and at that moment I know that something has happened in the spiritual world, and I feel an huge relief 😌

It reminds me of a brother in the LORD who shared a testimony from his life. He felt strongly one day that the Lord urged him to rent a cottage and stay there to fast and pray for awhile, and after telling this to his family, he went to the cottage.

The days he spent there, he did not know concrete what to pray about, so he mainly prayed in the spirit (the new tongues), and after some days, he went home again.

I believe that he was from Norway, a diligent servant of the Lord. Life went on, and after some years, he went to a foreign country (I don't remember where) to spread the Word, and when he was there, he got arrested for the Lord's sake.

The prisons in that country was nothing like those "hotel prisons" we have in Norway, so he was in deep agony!

However, that was the moment when the Holy Spirit reminded him of the fasting and praying days in the cottage, and He said that he had been fasting and praying for that moment!

He came safely out of the prison, and went back home....

Paul suffered a whole heap of stuff but remained certain such things had an expiry date.

2Co 4:16-18  Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.  (17)  For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;  (18)  while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

We are often given the line that Jesus is always with us no matter what we go through. People go through some terrible ordeals, unspeakable atrocities, and great difficulties. Well He did, so it helps to have His company, knowing that He sees the BIG PICTURE.

Amen, brother. He never is not with us. That is impossible. 8:28 and psalms 23-28.

“This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:12-13 NASB)

He laid down His life for us all, suffering death for our sake even when we were dead in our trespasses. Well said, brother. Keeping our eyes and hearts fixated upon Christ, we can endure all things no matter how horrid they might seem. I'm fond of saying, "We suffer for only a little while," which the apostle Peter touched upon in the fifth chapter of his first letter.

We know that the BIG PICTURE is all that matters.

It seems odd to the natural man, but it is suffering, that makes Christ more real to us.

These things are temperal, Life in Christ is eternal.

Much like the Gospel itself. Foolishness…but the power of God.

Some say; "tongues has disappeared from most of churches who refused Holy Spirit baptism and became Theologians only "

I do not refuse to speak in an unknown language, or tongues, I just never have. Don't know why God left that out of my life.
But he did give me the holy spirit who does a better job than my talking;

"the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words"....as posted above by Alive
He communicates so much better than my tongue how to intercede my weakness to the Father.

THE  HELP  OF  THE  SPIRIT

JOHN 6:63  it is  --the spirit-- that quickeneth -- the flesh profiteth nothing  --the words that I speak unto you --  THEY  ARE  SPIRIT -- AND  THEY  ARE  LIFE --

THE  WORDS  OF  JESUS  CHRIST

1 JOHN 5:14  and this is the confidence that we have in  HIM  that  --if we ask anything according to  HIS  will  HE  heareth us--

--5:15-- and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask ---we know that we have the petitions that we desired of  HIM---

2 THESSALONIANS 1:11  wherefore also  ---we pray always for you that---  our  GOD  would count you worthy of this calling  ---and fulfil all the good pleasure of  HIS  goodness and the work of faith with power

JOHN 14:13  and whatsoever you shall ask ---IN  MY  NAME--- that will I do that  THE  FATHER may be glorified in  THE  SON

--14:14-- IF -- you shall ask anything in  MY  NAME  I will do it

--14:15-- IF -- you love  ME  keep  MY  comandments

--14:16-- and I will PRAY  THE  FATHER  and  HE  shall give you another comforter that  HE  may abide with you forever

--14:17--even the spirit of truth --- whom the world cannot receive --- because it see  HIM  not neither knoweth  HIM  for  HE  dwelleth with you and shall be in you

--14:18--  I  will not leave you comfortless ---I will come to you---

ACTS 9:4  and he fell to the earth and heard a voice saying unto him saul saul why persecutest thou  ME

--9:5-- and he said who art thou  LORD  and  THE  LORD  said  ---I  AM  JESUS  whom thou persecutest--- it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks

--9:6-- and he trembling and astonished said  LORD  what wilt thou have me to do and  THE  LORD  said unto him ---arise and go into the city and it shall be told thee what thou must do---

IS  THIS  NOT  TRUE

JOHN 14:6  JESUS saith unto him  --I am the way -- THE  TRUTH -- and the life -- no man cometh unto  THE  FATHER  but by  ME

JOHN 18:37  pilate therefore said unto  HIM  art thou a king then  JESUS  answered  thou sayest that I am a king to this --end was I born-- and for this cause came I into the world -- that I  SHOULD bear witness unto the truth -- every one that is of the truth heareth  MY  voice

JOHN 10:27  MY  sheep hear  MY  VOICE  and I know them and they follow  ME

1 JOHN 5:6  this is  HE  that came by water and blood even  JESUS  CHRIST  not by water only but by water and blood ---and it is the spirit that --beareth witness--  because  the spirit is   --TRUTH--

ROMANS 10:17  so then faith cometh by hearing ---and hearing by the word of  GOD---

1 PETER 1:23  being born again not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible ---by the word of  GOD---which liveth and abideth forever---

REVELATION 19:10  and I fell at his feet to worship him and he said unto me see thou do it not I am thy fellowservant and of thy brethren ---that have the testimony of  JESUS --- worship GOD --- for the testimony of  JESUS  is the spirit of prophecy---

-- 19:13--  and  HE  was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood ---and  HIS  name is called the word of  GOD---

JOHN 17:17  sanctify them through thy truth ---thy word is truth---

EPHESIANS 5:9  FOR  THE  FRUIT  OF  THE  SPIRIT  IS  IN  ALL  GOODNESS  RIGHTEOUSNESS  AND  TRUTH

PHILIPPIANS 1:19  for I know that this shall turn to my salvation ---through your prayer and the supply of the spirit of  JESUS  CHRIST---

HEBREWS 12:24  and to  JESUS  the mediator of the new covenant ---and to the blood of sprinkling  --  that speaketh better things than that of abel---

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
