Are you talking about the men that like to act like John Wayne?  My father in law was one of those.  However, he was cruel, arrogant, controlling, selfish, unforgiving, unloving, unfaithful, and just used people, especially his own family.  He hated everyone there was to disdain including Christians and every race and nationality.  God used him in my life to teach me how much I needed Him to live in me to love the unlovable and forgive the unforgivable.  He died rejecting Christ as far as we know.

My dad was so opposite that.  He was a very strong person in character but reasonable, fair, compassionate, gentle and kind.  He didn't spank me often  but I clearly remember when he did.   He was the strength of our family and led by example, but he always got his way.    He considered himself a scholar and a philosopher till he was saved.

Aaaaaah, the age old argument against "macho men" and how toxic they are....

One can go back and forth and point out all the toxic men...and the men can in turn point out all the toxic women...

And both will have some valid points, because face it people are toxic. 

However it should be noted a lot also depends on local culture and perspective. I live in a very blue collar environment...lots of oil field and coal mining work. Men tend to work very hard, they dress rough, they talk rough, they play rough and yes they fight rough to. Theyre loud and proud, but yet for the most part none of them will raise a hand against a woman, and will even still hold the door for one.

Yet in many of of the more liberal cities, this oil field man would be considered a toxic male, because men in cities tend to dress nicer, act in a much more "civilized" manner etc. A lot of these men arnt toxic either but they would definitely stick out in a blue collar field.

And yes you see a lot of your effimiment men...the males who have allowed themselves to he feminized. Theyre weak, they dress dainty, theyre always one to try and be nice and inclusive etc. Theyre shallow and concerned with the ways of this world.

We also have your scum...the ones who beat on women and are unnessarily violent.

So what is the solution? I recently joined a Facebook group titled "the league of savage gentlemen" which is dedicated to this very thing.

See we have men who are all gentleman but are to week to actually stand for anything...but on the other side we have men who have zero gentleman, who are 100% savage. 

This group is dedicated to finding the balance between the two. Its men who are trying to find the balance between knowing how and when to treat people with respect, and when to release the savage so to speak-because a true man should never run from conflict, but rather know how to face it.

I really feel like your out of line here. Its one thing to disagree with someone, even strongly, but the personal insults have no place here. Debate the subject, not the person, there is no need for the name calling.
