What should we do so that we can get life?

This question looks like something antic. Nonetheless, most of the people doesn’t live. Simply pass through the life without living it, as if the life was an obligation.

But, how to sort out this problem?

Well, the Creator give us, every day, our “bread of each day” while we sleep (Ps 127:2). So, instead of keeping focus on the future (on the things that your soul desire and still doesn’t have), make the best from what you are and have, and of what Jesus impart you today.

Perhaps, what it came in your hands isn’t exactly what you expected. Many times, we can’t figure out the things that we receive from Jesus now. These things look bootless or harmful and painful. Nonetheless, all of these things will be beneficial in the future. Keep all of them with care and gratitude and, at the right moment, the Holy Spirit will teach you how to make good use of them.

Hence the importance of the prayer: it is through it that we will be able to procure such wisdom. That’s why it is written:

•    Pro 19:8 -> “He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.”.
•    Pro 3:21,22 -> “My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: so shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.”.

Jesus, the true wisdom of the Creator (Col 2:3), says:

•    Pro 8:35,36 -> “For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.”.
•    Pro 22:17,18 -> “Incline your ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply your heart to my knowledge, for it will be pleasant if you keep them within you, if all of them are ready on your lips.”.

Knowing what Jesus already prepared for us (1Cor 2:9) and granted us (Eph 1:3; 2Pe 1:3) will allow us to preserve our life to the eternal life:

•    Joh 12:25 -> “He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.”.

Nonetheless, have wisdom without love can be harmful:

•    1Co 8:1 -> “Now concerning food offered to idols: we know that “all of us possess knowledge.” This “knowledge” puffs up, but love builds up.”.
•    Pro 17:16 -> “Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it?”.

Thus, behave…

•    1Pe 4:2-4 -> “so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God. For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry. With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign you;”.

Instead of fixing your eyes in getting what people expect from you (chiefly money), follow Jesus’ and Peter’s advice:

•    Joh 6:27 -> “Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.”.
•    1Pe 3:10-12 -> “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.”.

So, have a good day handling all situation in a wisely way:

•    Pro 16:20 -> “He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.”.

John 17: Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
