I’ve asked his will about different things for years; to no avail.  I don’t believe I’ve ever asked for wisdom.  I’m not sure.  I not going to lie.  I do think David asked for wisdom, and behind hearing about the story, I was probably inspired to ask for wisdom at some point in my life.  Basically, his will has always been hard for me to figure out.  He’ll answer you if you ask for what he wants. It’s like a catch-twenty two.

Hey.. not here with the answer lol. Christ can not lie and there is more then one verse about asking Him asking the Father,  what every you desire when you pray, delight your self in the lord He will give you the desires of your heart.  Then we flip it and say "whats His will?" He just told us. Now only guessing? Well I mean who was Christ talking to? Ok as a new believer hearing reading this they might think they can ask for anything. That is true yet not. We have not because we ask  not or we are asking for personal gain.  Not everyone or every group that believes the word of God on this and other things are all out to get have personal gain. Years ago this new place for prayer needed glasses (drinking) so they prayed then the next day there were glasses on the front porch.  No one there went out and bought them. On this alone I can go on for days.

For me Gods will is His word. Hello GOD Said.. we have what Christ said we have OT NT. One would think Christ would have really touched on this "has to be GODS WILL". Like if you believe and not doubt even this MTN has to obey you. Now man did not say that GOD did. Yet  we can't even grasp that kind of faith so we twist it to "what Jesus really meant was MTN in your life". No He never said that.  I have shared a few times...very few something we don't read about on any Christian thread ..yet I could have missed it praise GOD is about FAITH and how we work our faith. I think some believe you just have it or you don't. We don't (sorry awful with words) pray.. or start in small areas of our life. We pray we then look at our watch so to speak and well it never happen I guess it was not Gods will. How in the world does that prove not Gods will? So we pray about something and GOD must do it according to our time table? We do know so many things we pray about involve real people that have free choices and God can  not make any one do anything. Yet... in my own life seen a prayer with real people and choices .. mind blowing yet can not say praise YOU FATHER enough. Answered it in less then 5 min. Mind blowing because He knew before I asked what I was going to say and had already set in motion the answer DAYS before that prayer.. just WOW.

Its not the person praying. Its faith. Its never me/us its faith in that name its faith knowing He will no matter what we see hear or feel He will keep His word. We don't look around us at what is or is not happening in others we hold to what He said. We forget I think God will never go against our will. So if I say 'well He won't answer, its not His will" Do I really think GOD will still answer? No.. never. Its not anything I say here what does He say? If you know God hears you then you know you have the petitions you asked for. I didn't write that. We know if we doubt were like a ship tossed back and forth let not that man think he will get anything from GOD. Doubt will stop GOD every time.

Other things come in to play here. Are we living in sin .. is there sin we won't confess or stuck in some sin? How are we talking thinking. Are we praying always are we always keeping His word before our eyes? For me I found God loves to always give and give and then give. We here know no one does this so GOD must be the same way. Ever truly want to know .. then ask Him with no preconceptions.. not  sure if thats the right word. Hmm like praying asking yet going in to it you know He will never answer you. You go in willing to know the truth knowing nothing.

The older we grow in the spirit you find you never want to ask for anything that gives you personal gain. You know that you know that you know you can ask for anything. It always points to Him always for His glory. So what you personally believe here He will never go against your will. If you are not willing to hear .. to just believe you know the truth.. He will say nothing. So never my will. forgive me change me first. If I have it wrong in ANY area Father change me first in JESUS name.

sorry went on so long.

I agree that his word is his will, but he also has what some refer to as a rhema, or individual word.  That’s where it’s confusing.  Sometimes you don’t know what his individual word is.   I don’t see how his word for each individual is in the Bible.  When you ask him for something as an individual, you can’t necessarily find something specific, then people encourage you to have faith. Yet, when you can’t find his individual word, it’s hard to have faith.  IDK....it’s confusing.

Someone asked me "It says in the Bible that when you ask for something God will give it to you. I asked and I did not receive."

Well, it has been sometime but about a week ago I felt like I had a revelation. The verse is John 14:12-14. And I quote: "I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father and I will do whatever you ask in my name so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask anything in my name, and I will do it."

Not everything we ask is according to God's will. If I ask God to give every body on this forum that disagrees with me blindness, I think He will say no. It wouldn't be God's will.  Do you ask according to His will?

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 1 John 5:14-15

Are you right with the Lord? Do you selfishly desire to consume it upon yourself? Or to bless others. There's the rub.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
