The abomination that causes desolation is what makes Jerusalem without inhabitant.

So who are the remnants then?

3 minutes ago, Shilohsfoal said:

Same thing that happened to Hiroshima. All the people in the city just vanished.

There are still people there today?

7 minutes ago, Shilohsfoal said:

But at the same time the abomination of desolation is placed on the day of the Lord, the Lord and his holy ones come to Jerusalem and inhabit the city.

So God is going to have mercy on Babylon then?

The resurection of Israel takes place at that time also. Then Jerusalem will be secure.

https://biblehub.com/zechariah/14-11.htm

Zechariah 14:11   And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

You see with your theory of Babylon being Jerusalem, you will get stuck in this web.  Babylon will be left without inhabitant, never to return again.  She's gone for good, but Israel is not.

So Babylon is 'the system' of the world, and of Satan's ways. It's that system of his that will be gone which people have been ruled by.  When Satan's kingdom is destroyed, and he is put away for a thousand years, men will never run the show again because they proved, that they can be corrupted.  The kingdoms will become the kingdoms of our Lord Jesus Christ and he will rule the earth with his saints, who have been quickened.  The unfair oppressive system we have today will never return, ever again.  Even when Satan is let out of prison for a short time after the thousand years, his men that follow will still never rule over the earth, but will rebel against those who do.  There is a big difference.

Your saying that Jerusalem will not be destroyed? Your saying the beast and the kings of the earth will not attack Jerusalem?

If I'm not mistaken, there is no other city the Bible says the beast will attack.

The beast will attack and kill the harlot.(apostate israel).

The saints who endure till the end will be saved.

Rome is the beast. Rome is the iron nation in the statue of Dan. 2 and the 4th beast of Dan. 7.

Jerusalem is the harlot which sits upon the beast. The beast is a kingdom with seven heads and ten horns. The seven heads are hills on which the city sits.

Jerusalem is the harlot, yes.

But the beast that she sits on is Rome, showing the situation in 85-96 AD ish when the Revelation was written.

Rome is far outside of the kingdom spoken of. The kingdom described here is the present day promised land, future kingdom of heaven.

The kingdom is spiritual and will never be a land mass with borders, Lk 17:20-21.

You can learn the borders of this kingdom in scripture and you can see what nations share it now.

Lk 17:20-21. Ours is a spiritual kingdom, without material borders.

If you learn the dates of those horns arising in this kingdom, you will learn a little horn came up last, different from the others.

The ten toes divided when the Roman Empire fell apart in 476 AD ish.

The little horn (one of the seven, Roman) gained more power after that.

The little horn rising is past, not a future event.

The borders were given long long ago.

They are recorded in the Bible.

Lk 17:20, "And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them and said, the kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21, Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

--

But now you are saying just the opposite, that when the kingdom comes, it will come with observation, that people can say, "There it is, that land mass over there."

Are you saying that the kingdom, is not, within us?

That's not what I said.

The land is already there. Has been since the day Abraham set eyes on it. On that day it was promised to Abraham and his seed.

You think Abraham is going to live in Florida, China, or Russia?

https://biblehub.com/galatians/3-16.htm

It's never been a big secret.

Abraham is going to live in a city whose builder and maker is God, Heb 11:10.

It is not a city on planet earth and never will be on planet earth.

Abraham is in the city and is in heaven with Jesus now, Heb 12:22.

They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city that he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.

So you believe Gog invades where? You believe Gog encircles the city made by God? Really?

Here's an even better one.

There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.

How can the unbelieving jews be thrown out of a city they have never been in?

Bra ha ha ha

No, I am saying that Babylon which is not Jerusalem will be destroyed forever....

Revelation 18:21   And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

Ask yourself, will Jerusalem be found no more at all when all this is done?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
