Almost half of President Joe Biden’s current 22.2 million followers on Twitter are fake accounts, according to an audit tool provided by software company SparkToro.

SparkToro’s tool found that 49.3 percent of accounts following the official @POTUS Twitter account are “fake followers” based on analysis of a number of factors, including location issues, default profile images and new users.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who is currently trying to buy Twitter, has expressed concerns about the number of fake accounts and a potential crack down could see users such as Biden lose a huge number of followers. — Source: NewsWeek

Twitter is getting ready to collapse if they've lied on their SEC report about the use of bots.  Huge lawsuits ... investors and advertisers will collapse the company!

It will be interesting to see if anything happens as a result of that, brother.

As for myself, I ditched social media a long time ago after a Facebook friend wrote, "Men can't be women, and women can't be men" and was put in Facebook "jail" for 30 days because of that comment. This, compared to 32 reports of pornographic content that Facebook deemed didn't violate their community standards. That vile stuff was okay, but stating the truth was not. Twitter is scarcely different.

I don't think I have ever seen any porn on my facebook news feed.   If one is very careful about who their friends are and control the advertising they send.      I have been in facebook jail several times for calling out Wokeness....

We would come across the most atrocious memes blaspheming the Lord, and these included pornographic imagery. There was also a fellow who wrote about killing Christians, how he was going to round us up and shoot us all in the head. I happened to know of this man; his wife was a teacher in the school district. I was part of a group who got together to report horrific content so we would share news and the responses we received from Facebook.

That man who threatened to kill Christians was a violent felon with a rap sheet. By law he wasn't permitted to own, possess, nor purchase firearms but he was doing just that using Facebook marketplace. His posts were public so anyone could stumble across his wall and view his content. The guy was most assuredly not my Facebook friend, brother. His posts would surface on our wall because he was a friend of a friend of his wife's, unfortunately.

Not only did Facebook do nothing about his posts (many were virulently racist) nor account, but the school district did nothing about his vows of violence against the community. We chronicled his threats and delivered these to the superintendent. Did he know that the husband of one of his teachers was publishing threats of violence?

I don't follow people who do such things in the first place and it is very easy to block anyone.   You can even not accept add from certain companies that tend to post things you don't like.

I can't control what you post, but I can control if I have to see it.

I haven't been on Facebook for ages, brother. There was a time when the news feed was a mess; I assume things are different now? I caught a glimpse of FB a year ago and I noticed that it looks completely different. It's quite alright that I have nothing to do with it. The Lord reunited me with my youngest sister recently and we keep in touch via text messaging and phone calls. As for the surviving members of my immediate family? They know how to reach me if they experience a change of heart. I honestly don't miss social media. I have plenty of productive work to do right where I am to waste time on the likes of Facebook or Twitter.

Worthy is how I connect with brothers and sisters in distant places. That's enough for me. :)

Edit to add that I didn't follow sources of atrocious content when I was on Facebook. Things would surface on my news feed because they were tenuously connected to a friend (a friend of a friend), and there were plenty of instances when something would show up because it was a public post by someone in my area.

My family and extended family keep up with each other and I have about 20 people I worked very closely with at Xerox.  I don't accept any friends that I don't know personally.

I'm certainly not declaring social media anathema, mind you. It just isn't for me. My fleshly relatives want nothing to do with me, having written me off as a lunatic a long time ago. That's fine. My little sister knows differently, and that's also quite alright. I was always closer to her anyway.

I've known more people than I can possibly count, and they were lost to me over many years of wandering this country. Lost, but not forgotten; this is also okay with me. If social media works for you, that's great.

That almost hurts to hear.     My dads side of the family had 12 kids and 11 lived to adulthood.  Gave me a really huge number of cousins.  We have a reunion every year (Except for covid 2020) I wish you could experience spending two days catching up with 90 or so cousins, aunts and uncles.     Almost all born again Christians.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
