I'd love to read the actual questions posed in the study because I am curious how they are defining "Biblical worldview". I would think that there is potential subjectivity around the framing of those questions. Essentially the researchers are assuming they know what the "Biblical worldview" is.

The article states what they say a biblical world view is.

"A Biblical worldview is the belief that Jesus Christ is the only hope for salvation and eternal life, that the Lord calls for men and women to repent of their sins and turn to Him."

That does not surprise me at all.

But they ask 54 questions. That statement could be answered in one question. There must be more to their definition than just the above.

The questions they ask in polls have a purpose behind them.  I have yet seen a poll that I felt had proper selections, so without reading the questions themselves, and seeing the options given to select from, I could not honestly defend the results.  I was just going by what the BOT presented.  From what I have seen in the churches around me, this could very well be the truth.  Not sure how the churches are around your neck of the woods.

Probably nuanced questions, but I do not doubt the results.

One of the reasons, I left off pastoring and the organized church years ago, was the numbers game.

When I was first saved we preached in the streets and parks using tracts and small NTs and the prominent message was ‘One Way’. Some of you might remember those days.

To the world, it is harsh and unforgiving. This makes way for the enemies perversions.

I am also not necessarily disagreeing with the results. Seeing the questions would however help one understand how the researchers are defining Biblical worldview. I wonder if they are inserting secondary or ancillary issues that are non-salvific, yet feel that these are crucial to a Biblical worldview.

Worldview involves asking/answering basic questions like "why am I here?", why does the world seem messed up?" and so on.
