I recently learned all about this other Mary Queen of heaven and hell!  The RCC did mother Mary no favor in associating her to this pagan priestess queen of heaven (and hell).  But they are also the same men who turned Mary of Magdala into a whore and had to recount this in 1969. https://www.christianpost.com/news/biblical-myth-debunked-mary-magdalene-was-not-a-prostitute.html

The RCC has been causing God a lot trouble for many many centuries.  He will get his revenge one day.

Yeah they confused Mary Magadalene who had Seven Demons with the prostitute Mary.

Mother Mary’s sinfulness is confirmed by her own mouth,

and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior!” (Luke 1:47)

She is confessing she needs a savior, and is not sinless like RCC teaches.

One of the biggest flops they use. Is the wedding were catholics say she had compassion for the people. Yet in reality she was wanting the wedding reception to go smoothly and no one leave and say it was good until they ran out of wine. Reason why Jesus says woman why you bother me with this.

Mary was more than a guest to the wedding rather it was a daughter or a niece that got married. just an average guest doesn't worry about wine running out.

And the other woman only lived a sinful life, that could be number of things

Huh thanks for the info, and I'll have say to Luke 7 says she lived a sinful life that could be alot of things not just a prostitute lol. They really mess things up for sure.

The woman in Luke 7:36-50 has no name.  This is where the RCC messed up.  The Pope in the 1500's made an incorrect assumption and claimed it was Mary Magdalene.  Only in John 12:3 is Mary, sister to Lazarus named. The other two verses do not have a name of the woman and the correlations are obviously different to me.  There are other's who still dispute this.

Prior to this verse below in Luke 7 Jesus was in the city of Nain.

Luke 7:36-38 'And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat. And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, and stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. '

Then we have this incident in Bethany.

Mark 14:3 'And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head. '

Then we have the incident at the house of Lazarus.

John 12:3 'Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. '

Mary of Magdala did have seven demons at one time but the Lord Jesus took care of them.  forgiveness is wonderful!

Mark 16:9 'Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. '

There was no prostitute named Mary.  This is the false claim of the RCC which they have recounted.  The woman sinner in Luke 7 has no name.  It is only an assumption the woman sinner was a prostitute but again there is no name.  Even the sins of Mary Magdalene are unknown so we cannot accurately declare her a prostitute.

Yup

and what I find more odd the RC calls the woman a prostitute, scripture only says she was a sinner of what is not mentioned

There was incetive to make her a prostitute, to sell her sainthood as a woman “of loose morals” who became disciple of Christ; to inspire comverts to Catholicism and increase their coffers with donations.

I have no doubt repentant-prostitutes did become followers of Jesus, He did say, “Then Jesus explained his meaning: “I tell you the truth, corrupt tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the Kingdom of God before you do.” (Matthew 21:31). But Mary Magadalene was not a harlot.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
