It sounds like the Holy Spirit is convicting you. This means God is at work to change and grow you. This does not happen to people who God is not moving in their hearts to bring them to repentance; those people are hardened and darkened, they do not see any need for change. Since you have been given this understanding, your response should be change. Cry out to God and ask Him to make the change possible. Ask Him to grant you the insight to understand and the strength to actually follow through on what He shows you.

I don’t think I’m saved.  I’m living a double , hypocrital life.  I profess Christ on fb and such, but many ppl who don’t profess are living better lives.  TRUE lives.  It’s a virtue to be true to oneself.  I’m just lying to myself.  I’m so fake.  So so so fake.  Don’t know what to do.

Have you ever been born again?  If you have, you will know, since it is a transforming experience (from darkness to light; from the kingdom of Satan, to the Kingdom of God; from loving sin, to loving Jesus).  Have you ever had a light switched on in your spirit; a light that does not go out, even though you have sin in your flesh?

Have you ever repented and believed in Jesus Christ?

It is godly sorrow that leads to repentance, so repentance is not just saying, "I repent."; rather, it is a complete change of heart and mind, towards sin and God, brought on by godly sorrow for your sin and worked in your heart by the grace of God.

Faith in Jesus Christ is not merely accepting facts about him; but, it is an absolute trust in, reliance upon, and clinging to him; this works by love.

Charles Wesley put the salvation experience excellently, in his hymn "Amazing Love".

Verse 4
Long my imprisoned spirit lay
fast bound in sin and nature’s night
thine eye diffused a quickening ray
I woke, the dungeon flamed with light
my chains fell off, my heart was free,
I rose, went forth, and followed thee!
Amazing love! How can it be,
that thou, my God, shouldst die for me!

If you have not experienced the things above, then seek God with all your heart, to have mercy upon you.  Call upon him to save you and forgive your sins, for he is gracious to the contrite ones.

Luke 18:10-14 (KJV)

10  Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11  The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12  I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13  And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14  I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

If salvation were depended upon our performance, then Judaism would never have been superseded by Christianity.

The point of the Law of Moses was that fallen human beings cannot keep God's standards for righteousness. Cannot.

Galatians 3:24–25 (KJV)
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

There are people living under the Law appearing to be more godly and cultists who's biggest sales pitch is how nice they are...

But it's not about all that but faith in Jesus Christ and faith in Jesus Christ alone.

John 3:16–18 (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Ephesians 2:8–10 (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Human beings are evil and hypocritical by our very nature.

This doesn't mean we are always on the verge of mass murder or

rape or theft or abuse... but it is the propensity to do evil, be evil, think evil

thoughts, cuss like a drunk sailor, be hypocritical...

Some people do have good and gracious tendencies, but even they have bad days...

Others are good and fooling other people and themselves...

Look at King David (a man after God's own heart) and how badly he screwed up.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, he will make up the shortfalls in your life and

character as he does will us all.

Dear Tyler,

I lived as a “fake” Christian for many years because I BELIEVED but did not (and in some ways, because of wounds and addictions, COULD NOT) obey and follow His moral commands.
It has taken many YEARS for Him to heal my heart (because this requires taking down years-long high walls and LETTING HIM in.)
God will never give up on you, so please keep your baby Faith, and keep seeking, and asking Him HOW to receive His unconditional LOVE into your heart and mind, seeking to have a close, personal relationship with Him. It is ONLY through a close, trusting relationship with your Lord that transformation can happen, and your life be changed. He is a merciful, patient, tender-loving Father who “KNOWS that we are dust.”

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
