Part of our commission is to 'witness ' for the Lord.

A witness can take place in a court room, where stands a person who has been accused of a crime. Witnesses can be called to speak against or for the accused.  Christian Folk understand that Jesus was falsely accused of a number of crimes,  but we know in our heart of hearts that He is innocent.

This writing is not focused solely on what He was accused of,  rather what have you seen and know about His innocence? What can you witness by personal experience, as to the innocence of Jesus in something He has been falsely accused of.

An example is of the thief on the cross,  who testified as a witness to the innocence of Him saying,  .."this Man has done nothing wrong ".

  My example is as follows:

Jesus has been accused of not being like most Christians say He is.  In fact, some have told me that there are no modern day occurrences of Him preforming miracles for ones personal sake.  He just sits back and watches. Kind of an agnostic view.

My experience:

In the mid 80's I was traveling with my family, wife and 4 kids (2 in diapers), from Texas to Minnesota to visit my parents.  At about 2am, my station wagon started loosing power.  Right away I knew it was the transmission.  I prayed God help! I was able to get off the interstate and was able to pull in to an old gas station and garage. It was closed. At that point the car would not move.  I looked under the car with my flash light and saw the spill of what remained of the transmission fluid. I told my wife that we would sit here till the garage opened.  Then 2 fellows came out of the garage and I told them the deal. They said they could check it out in the morning.  Also, that there were bed rooms upstairs above the garage that we could stay in. No charge. We thanked them and followed them up stairs.

When we got upstairs they turned around and told me that the mother and my 2 daughters could stay in the room at the end of the hall, and me and my sons could stay in the room at the other end of the hall.

Suddenly I felt danger.  I looked at my wife and saw that she felt the same.

God help us now!

The 2 fellows went into a daze, started walking around like blind men in a trance. I told my wife, "Let's go now!"

We got the kids and left the building.  Got into the car and I knew it was going to run. Fired it up and drove off. Didn't have any trouble with it for the rest of the way. Or anytime thereafter.

My witness is that God is always always present for us, and He does get involved in our safe keeping.  And He does do miracles.

What experiences do you have in this form, that has resulted in you witnessing that this Lord God, has done no wrong?

(Of course there are other scenarios where witnessing can occur.  But for this writing I'm going with the above mentioned scenario).

Brother,I love love love your testimony- Glory to God! I get so excited to hear someone WITNESS God's Ever Present Help in times of trouble (& not in trouble too!)

He Certainly Is STILL in the Miracle Working Business,I've given witness to many a Miracle and other Wonderful Things the Lord has done for me- yes, personally! Praise Jesus!

I don't know how to make this very long story short but I will try,I've Testified hundreds of times how God Healed me of Terminal Illness but there's countless other stories of how He is Always with me,in me& working all things for my good and His Glory... Here's one...

I opened a full service beauty salon ( on a wing & a prayer, lol)I had mostly all Born Again employees & the majority of my patrons were Christians( my salon was PJs- Praise Jesus)

I held little Bible Studies, Bible Q & A or prayer group before opening each day and on this day we discussed " blind Faith"- as we ended the discussion one of my girls said" I just really don't understand"& we opened the doors...

My first client was a lovely Jewish woman who was one of my favorite people,we often talked about Jesus and I was so very drawn to her- she sat down for me to do her nail art.The salon was packed with people and suddenly I heard screaming, weird sounds of incomprehensive jibberish, wailing - inhuman sounds! As I looked around I saw a strange looking woman walking towards one of my manicurist tables, she looked like an island person( perhaps Haitian ,Jamaican or Bohemian) she was carrying a basket and I heard her calling my manicurist a jezebel,my girl looked like she was crying & the sounds were coming from this lady( not her mouth though)

Gee,everyone was acting normal,no one seemed to hear a thing except me- I must've had the strangest look on my face because my client asked" what's wrong, what are you looking at?" I said" nothing, excuse me a moment"...I grabbed my empty bottle of acetone to go fill it

Now,in my heart I was being lead to get up,rebuke the woman & her demons but instead of simply obeying I thought" what will everyone think,I'll look crazy"- I needed time to think,to pray- so at the back wall of the salon I had a showcase with gallons of acetone underneath.Still I heard," rebuke them" but did not,the screaming was such evil sounds...Confused,I reached for the gallon jug & filled my dispenser with 100percent acetone- suddenly I felt something grab my arm & I flung the acetone in my face- my eyes were on fire,I felt my eyes with my hands as they were bulging out of the sockets and I was completely blind

I couldn't see a thing and the screaming got very very loud ,I felt my way around the showcase, dropped to my knees & shouted the Lord Rebukes you & yelled for my girls help me to pray,I cannot see RIGHT NOW-I felt them grab me & I asked" who is screaming?" They said" no one"---- later they told me when I yelled out " the Lord Rebukes you" the strange lady ran out of the salon, dropping her basket & all her belongings!

They lead me to the sink and I just kept rinsing my eyes saying",thank you Jesus, this is your Blood I cleanse my eyes with- I know I'm not blind, thank you,Praise You' - I was so calm& peaceful and blind as a bat!My Jewish client took me next door to the physician there, they couldn't understand why I was Praising & thanking Jesus- the doctor said," this is bad, your eyes are burned badly- she sent me to an opthalmologist surgeon( my client drove me)

The Opthalmologist said " this is going to burn" before he put drops in my eyes" I said I didn't think it'd be as bad as the acetone as the burning was horrific

When he examined me his words were" This is a Miracle"- only the outer protective layer is gone, your vision should be coming back- it was though my eyes were healing right in front of him!!! My Jewish client said" I think there is something for me to think about with YOUR Jesus"- lol

Anyway,we went back to the salon,I insisted - funny, everyone of the clients that witnessed the entire thing were Born Again Believers, they all prayed together & waited for my return- we all talked about what happened,no one heard screaming but me and I learned my lesson about pride & obedience- No one would have thought me crazy to get up & rebuke the devil anyway.

And my girl Laura, who didn't know what blind faith was got a first hand look" dropping to your knees to Praise God cause you know He's Got you when your in hot water"

I said" Okay Lord, did ya have to use me- literally to show BLIND Faith?" And we all laughed & Praised the Lord, the entire salon full of Believers& one Jew❤️

True story, quite a few lessons that day to the Glory of God Most High- by the very next day my sight was returned,I only needed artificial tears for a few days.....

Praise the Most High God! Indeed a number of lessons can be learned from this experience.  One that jumped out was that God requires us to help each other out 'now' when we see the need.  Also, I love the mention that No one was aware of the presence of this demon but you, and God put the act of rebuking on your plate. No one else. Even though there were other Christians present God insisted that it was to be done by you.

I so relate to your example of worrying what others may think.  Here, God so lovingly removed the others from your sight so you could see what He was showing only you. And insisted that this rebuking was on your plate to do. Not any of the others present.

Thank you friend for taking the time to share your message.  It is true encouragement.

Like you it is my great pleasure, privilege and honor to witness..... God is Awesome,He requires much to whom much is Given and we simply need" listen & obey"

I was reminded of many examples in the Scriptures when I heard clearly & yet did not move immediately,oh He Will Have us Do His Will( us,His Own)regardless, lol.   I thought of Jonah & his ordeal and so many others just like us,ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances than can do Extraordinary things easily because of God's Power & Might yet we make some things extraordinarily difficult for ourselves-😀❤️

All Glory to God- I'm always so thankful,it's such a privilege to be used by Him ... I had to be blinded to just walk by Faith and to display that blind Faith for others to SEE- Praise Jesus!

A witness is someone who attests to the true facts. The person must have firsthand knowledge of Christ to be a witness for Christ. The person would need to be familiar with Scripture to be a good witness. A witness must tell the truth so that person would need to tell the true literal truth of what the Bible tells us. A witness must not tell a lie or make up what is not the truth.

Most of what you say is gained by reading and listening to others preach. Although I do not discount the values of these types of learning, when you repeat the same to others it is not witnessing for Christ,  it's witnessing what you heard someone else say about Christ.  It's hearsay.

Case in point, the event where Jesus healed the blind man and was called to appear before the court. What did he know about the intimate details of Jesus? Or his parents, what intimate details did they have? Their witness,  as was the witness of the thief on the cross,  was that "..this man has done nothing wrong ".

The purpose of this post was to praise the Most High God because of His miraculous involvement/intervention in our personal lives in this day. Not to nick-pick irrelevant details of anyones level of knowledge of scripture. Irrelevant to this post.

No, most of what I say comes from the Holy Bible and the Holy Spirit. I do not take a pastors word when they preach that it is the true literal Word of God. There are a lot of false teachers out there and there are many who give the Word of God their own meaning. Christian discernment comes into it. The post is titled "Witnessing" so that is what I am giving you my perspective on witnessing.

cool?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
