I would say that this is spelling out a word (cuss words, for example) by placing other characters in it (I've seen places on the board where the "d" word is spelled out like d*...) or, like in some cartoons I've seen where cuss words are the various characters above the numbers on the keyboards, etc.

Basically, I would say that if you're thinking in any path that would use the kind of language in that quoted rule #1 (with or without the spelling variation), it would be safer to not post it, but instead revise your thought and come up with a way to say it without using that language.

Well said about the mission of WorthyBoards, George! :thumb:

  All I can say is

   THANK YOU, GEORGE!

This squabbling is ridiculous, all the time, in many of the threads.  I enjoy reading here once in awhile, but have pretty much quit, due to nonsense.  I thank you, George, for having the site here, and we can learn from it.  Thank you Xan, for the wonderful job you are doing!

Just be thankful I am not a moderator here - much would be taken out lol.   :halo:   But then,  am thankful I don't have those powers lol.

Bascially folks, just keep the site informative, k?

God bless.       :halo:

I don't swear in topic disscutions, shows lack of understanding.  It hardly even read internet topics.

George I have spent sometime cruising these boards.  I am wonering something.  Don't take this wrong.  do you supports the people you hire to assist you??  I have seen very little editing by Xan, is that good are should this person be more aggrsive in the editing?  I know that some "christian" men have issues with a women in "charge".  Had to fire one for that very reason.  Whom, I place in charge has my support until I say otherwise.

As a business owner I do support my people as best as I can.  But I like to let them make their mistakes and learn from them, as long as the situation gets cleared up, and no customers are lost.  Even if a customer is lost I still consider the situation as best as I can and try to achive a "fair" outcome for my people.

Just wondering what management style you use.  Many differant styles could be called "bibical".

When a topic is named "issued for debate" there is going to be all sorts of "bad" situations and pride is going to take over each of these situations, sorry just fact.  Then placing catholics and protest. in the same room togather is just another War of Reformations asking to happen.  not trying to tell you how to run your business, just reminding you of what you already know.

Hello George

First time posting to you :halo:

OK Lets say I am on a topic and the discussion is heading towards a conclusion that is against my stance. How can I remove the record of the discussion so as to remove a discussion that has went against my personal opinion? Well all I need do is look up the rules and break them on that thread and you will remove the entire thread.

Presto no more discussion on that topic.

Well it's something to think about?

Hi Adstar,

If I may address your hypothetical situation;

If I know my brother George, he would probably remove the offensive post, and address it with you privately. Afterwards, if you refused to abide by the extremely fair and impartial rules, he would be forced to restrict you from posting. His hope would be that you would come back to your senses, and continue participating.

The reason behind whole threads being deleted is quite simple; they were as a whole, not edifying to the body of Christ, nor bringing glory to God. In fact, the threads that have been deleted were only stroking individual egos. You see, George's responsibilities extend far beyond babysitting a group of Christians, who by virtue of their confession of faith, should not have to be monitored to begin with. While these particular threads were being formed, George was in Jerusalem doing the LORD's work. If that had not been the case, I am confident that they would never have been allowed to digress to the level that they had.

Though I have not been posting the last few months, I have been reading the forums. Most of what I read is a blessing, but remember that a small amount of leaven works through the whole batch. Abrasive attitudes are easy to spot amidst the humilty of others, and really show a lack of the love that Christ said would distinguish us from the lost.

If before each post, we made certain that the Spirit from which our words were formed, was the same Spirit that inspired the words; 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres., then we would be showing unbelievers that we are not a bunch of "hot-air", and really do believe all this "stuff" we are talking about.

Thank you George, for providing a place to discuss issues that are on our hearts, read the perspectives of others, and extend our fellowship with the body of Christ.

Ahhh, so true and  thank you Timothy. I have truly missed your posts.   :thumb:

I too, can think of devious and deceitful ways to get around the system and abuse the boards.... even ways to usurp Timothy's solution.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
