Illegal Aliens Are Trashing U.S. Border ... Literally

Each illegal immigrant leaves behind an average of 6 to 8 pounds of waste during the journey from Mexico into the U.S., according to government estimates.

With nearly 1 million people crossing into Arizona each year, that amounts to 8 million pounds, or 4,000 tons, of garbage in the Grand Canyon State alone.

Jesus said, The poor you will have always. In those days, it was the custom to leave some fruit and vegetables in the field for the poor and hungry so that they could glean what was left. It was the gleaning that helped Ruth survive along with her mother-in-law, Naomi. They were actually aliens in the land of Israel.

In some ways, I understand people's frustration with illegal immigrants. But on the other hand, having taught ESL for over two decades, I understand why people from South America come here. They just want a better life and they think this is the way. They have heard things about America. Some of them are from countries further south than Mexico. Think of the journey that they have had to make to get here.

God is testing people from all countries in these end times. Who knows why He has allowed some people to get into our country. Some may have made it here in order to be blessed. Others may have made it here only because they will be further judged because their motive for wanting to be here is not right. Only God knows what is in someone's heart.

So maybe just as the poor we will have always, the illegal immigrant we will have always.

But the "powers that be" that are letting this happen don't want them to assimilate, they want the US to change along with Mexico and Canada and morf into a new and different super nation with the three of all three of us as one. We must change along with them.

Remember that this country is not a large part of the end times and must fall out of world power..... unless one things that we are Babylon and then we will fall totally.... completely desolate where only wild beast roam and not fit for human life.

I just wanted to add another thought to this thread. Tonight on the BBC world news there was a piece on a problem with immigration to Spain. We are not the only ones with immigration problems and these problems are not going to go away. I was watching on TV huge numbers of people from Africa trying to get into Spain through Morocco. I think that a huge part of the problem is that through the media and the Internet, so many people are seeing with their own eyes that not everyone is as poor as them. How people live in the U.S. and in Europe and many other countries is in stark contrast with what is happening in many parts of the world. We sit in our nice living rooms with our full refrigerators and cars in the garage and we complain about so many meaningless things while other people do not know where their next meal is going to come from. They have nothing except the few raggedy clothes on their backs. Maybe we should look at the reasons why they want to come here. Then we should check our lives over and see if we have too much.

The Scripture says: Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. (De 32:15) This is what has happened to the U.S. and probably also to most countries that have a high standard of living. We need to get back to our first love: God. Then we need to figure out a way to help these people. To whom much has been given, much is required.
