Isaiah 65:25 ...and lion will eat straw like bullocks....

Does it show that God will change the genetic trait in the genome of carnivores or may be restore it like the beginning ?

Isaiah 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.

Hello, Hartono . . .This will take place in the eternity following the Great White Throne Judgment. There won’t be any flesh bodies at this time, so eating meat is not an option.

no more hamburgers!

Isaiah 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

Yes, it happens in the eternity.  I don’t totally understand the wording in verse 65:20 either, but my understanding is that in the eternity, there will be no more births or deaths because every soul is in its incorruptible and immortal state.  Also, in the eternity, there will no longer be any sin because at the Great White Throne Judgment, God will destroy everything that is evil.

Seems like a literary call back to the Edenic state.

I don't think there will be a hard genetic reset or something like that. The state of the new heaven and earth is a not a well described place and there are hints that make it a debatable issue. I do think we are resurrected to material bodies to inhabit a material Earth. I don't think we will be disembodied spirits or anything like that.

There was a nurse shark named Florence who they say was traumatized by a fish hook.

That ate a strictly vegan diet for a time.

edit

In the article they mention a book listed on amazon which might better answer the question: Little Tyke: The True Story of a Gentle Vegetarian Lioness

All creatures, including humans, were plant-eaters in the beginning. And God did not change the human genome, so no reason to think any differently for animals.

Gen. 1:29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.

Could it be by the fallen angels that came to copulate with women and birthed giants and made monsters ?
