Right now the discussion has to do with what we inherit from our ancestors in the DNA we receive from them? There are people who believe in generational curses. There are churches that pray for people to be delivered from this.

Sexual abuse in children could be as high as 50% with 20% reported. My brother worked for the civil service as a doctor (pediatrician) deep in the Appalachian mountains. To help pay for his medical school. (Anyone ever saw the movie deliverance?)

This is really a discussion more for Quota dot com then this website. People are a lot more open to talking about things on there. If people have a burning desire to discuss these issues, that would be the place.

Yes, we are born sinners according to the Bible.

However, until we reach an understanding of right/wrong and a concept of personal sin - I believe babies who die go to heaven.  Along with the severely mentally retarded.

Science shows that even when we have a genetic predisposition from our ancestors. We do not have to express that. Dr Ornish has done a lot of research on this. My daughter never even made it into the womb. Yet I had a very vivid dream about her in heaven when she would have been around 30 or 40 years old here on Earth. But in heaven, she was maybe two or three years old. Time is different there.

I'm glad you addressed that and with some good verses!  That we are born in sin is certainly a basic understanding in scripture.  Adam fell.  Sin dwells in all flesh (Rom 7:17-18). Mankind needs a transfer to the Last Adam.
