I do love Malachi's little prophecy. :)

Chapter 3 verse 16 is very encouraging indeed:

"Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name."

What manner of conversation would qualify to be recorded in heaven?

"The fear of the Lord" would be a big clue.

Speaking by the Spirit would seem to be mandatory.

Surely not any type of "on line chat" qualifies as fellowship.

I'll try throwing one out there.

1 Corinthians 14:

3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.

4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.

Reminds me of Psalm 111 also: reverence for the holy Name...............

(Thanks for your comment, @Mr. M..... :) )

Here are some verses I picked up with a word search "great congregation".

I remembered this was something David spoke of.

Psalm 22:25 My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation:

I will pay my vows before them that fear Him.

Psalm 35:18 I will give thee thanks in the great congregation:

I will praise thee among much people.

Psalm 40:

7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo,

I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest.

10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart;

I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation:

I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth

from the great congregation.

Note: For me "the great congregation" includes the

"great cloud of witnesses", upon the heavenly Mt. Zion.

I was acquainted with Father Malachi Martin back in the late 90s.  Every time I see this thread come up I think of him.
