First of all, please refrain from typing in all caps. In a forum such as this typing in caps is considered shouting.

Secondly, yes, Jesus was - and is - most certainly a man. Yet He is also the complete God.

Jesus is God who became man and died sinless to offer atonement for our sins.

Philippians 2:5-11 (Amplified)

5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

6 Who, although being essentially one with God
and
in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped
or
retained.

7 But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men
and
was born a human being.

8 And after He had appeared in human form, He abased
and
humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!

9 Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name.

10 That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heave and on earth and under the earth.

11 And every tongue [frankly and openly] confess
and
acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NAS)

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

"For without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, [God was] justified in the spirit, [God was] seen of angels, [God had] preached unto the Gentiles, [God was] believed on in the world, [God was] received up into glory" (I Timothy 3:16).

The reason "justified in the spirit" is in bold print is because people often overlook it. Many people simply read over that part of the text as if it were just King James jargon, put there merely as some spiritual word filler. It's not. It's a very important confirmation of a little known and taught part of the Christian faith.

Let's look again, "God . . . was justified in the spirit . . . " Now questions arise, "Justified of what, before who, how and why?" To answer before who is easy. "God . . . was justified . . . seen of angels." To answer the other questions is not quite as simple. First we must make sure we understand exactly WHO Jesus Christ was (and is).

Jesus was both "the root and offspring of David." He was that from which David himself sprangforth . . . while He Himself is a desendant of David. He was both David's father and his son . . . God and man.

The above quote is from a thread I started "For Tempest Tossed" in an attempt to help Tempest Tossed understand the purpose and necessity of the cross and the Deity of Christ.

Peace,

BlindSeeker

<P>

Well! you might just be aware of the word impecability and its meaning: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=defin...ability&spell=1, or with: , <P>

but anyway, are you aware of the above links? if so, then! the scripture would be much clearer in these passeges:

<P> II Cor. 5:19, , and aven as these men who actually been with and talked with, even proved to others about who Jesus Christ was to them while they spent their lives with him on earth, but you asked a very important question, and of course made a pretty good statement, <P>

and I would say for myself now that I'am also persuaded to believe that of the scriptures and its context, and yes to answer about was, is was Jesus Christ a man? and that my answer is yes! not only inword but in deeds as well enough to be proven, even throughout the context of the scriptures :) , and also that it is enough proof of him not being comitted to sin that of doing of himself at all. inwhich I personally has become to believe in Jesus Christ of being my personal Saviour. and another thing while this issue is in that way, would anyone tell me can they find a better Saviour, that GOD! had sent? John 3:16, Is. 53: all verses, and more, like: http://www.blueletterbible.org/cgi-bin/too...Go.x=23&Go.y=15 :emot-hug: , <P>

I Cor. 15:45 -50.

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

15:46

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

15:47

The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

15:48

As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

15:49

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

15:50

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Jesus was 100 percent human and 100 percent devine. His 2 natures we unconfused, unchangeable, and inseperable.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
