Avodah is Hebrew for worship

It describes me, I looove to worship. I did have help picking it out of course, because I am just learning Hebrew  I used to be kraz4gsus, the name itself should explain it :) . I am still crazy for Jesus of course!

My screen name came after months of heavy thought and deep prayer. It's from a complex formula regarding the Greek and Hebrew letters examined from original Biblical documents and then put through a computer program similar to the Bible Code program. Once the results were conclusive, they were scrutinized by the most knowledgable Bible scholars from all over the world for their deepest meanings and profundity. Those calculations, combined with prophecies from the book of Daniel, foretold my screen name with such accuracy that its inevitability could no longer be denied... I got mine from mommy and daddy.
Keith, you absolutly slay me :taped:

I just love nebulas <<--CLICK THERE.
OOOOOHHHHH... beautiful pictures... I take it their beauty and the science of them is why you chose the name and no relation to being a "gas cloud"???:laugh: Actually, I think they are one of God's most breathtaking creations.

I chose the name "seraph" partly because one of my nicknames is "angel," and partly because of what the word "seraph" means to me

My First name i went by was "JMG" when accidentally finding worthy in November of 2003, and i never registered the name "JMG" because you didn't used to have to register to go into the chat room, But! I made a couple of mustaches by making a fool out of myself... so because i was I was researching the Trinity or others like to call it the Tri-unity before i came unto worthy i then used the name Trinity in Jan 2004 because i wanted to start fresh.

Then all of the sudden George made it so we had to registered to enter chatroom in March of 2004... on March 30th 2004 when i registered and picked this name Trinity because that is what everyone knew me as...

Mongo,

I like the games too. But mainly the old link and zelda games. Adventure games are kewl.

hmh,

I always thought your name was an emotion like humph! Like you were exasperated. hmh! LOL, I like your explanation better.

Constant,

I thought your name might have been constance. Or that you were constantly a marine.

ooh ra!

Nebula,

I actually knew what a nebula was so I figured you were into astronomy.

Island Rose,

I figured you were hawaiian.

I was on the right track.

Rose is a beautiful name. But what is in a name. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. LOL

No, Constant is my married last name. Alot of people on here call me Connie which I hate. My first name is Allison. Oorah to you!

My mom's screen name is Kodi. It was also her dog's name until the dog died. Well, I guess it is still the dog's name but she doesn't need it anymore......

Anyway, my mom's name has been Kodi since the very beginning of the internet. When I was younger I typed in kodischild because back then whatever I was logging into wouldn't take kodi's_child. So that is who I have been ever since.

Avodah,

I love the hebrew names. I learn a few words of the language that way. I remember kraz4gsus. Didn't know that was you. Kewl!

Seraph,

I never even thought of your name being part of seraphim. Great choice. But I didn't know it meant to burn. Interesting.

Trinity,

Funny how our names change as we change.

Phil,

Not so obvious, I never read your signature line. Now I feel like DUH!

Keith,

your name may not be real original but you post sure are. Keep smiling.

Kodischild,

Your mom must have loved that dog a lot.

Are you still a child?

Will you change it to kodisteenager later on? haha

((((Giaour)))) I needed that. My name has been a source of some pain in my life, given my past with my family. It's hard for me to keep a name that people (my parents) gave me when they didn't/don't want me in their life. I have prayed and asked God to change my name or allow me to change it, but I don't feel any peace about doing so yet. (Last name included.) I enjoy being creative and wanted to choose a creative name for the boards, but sticking with Keith was my way of surrendering the situation to God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
