Oh, you just hate the LGBT and black people. I'll just ignore you from now on.

That is at least one type of logical fallacy, but I'm not going to take the time/effort to figure it out . . .

" [Wisdom Is Better Than Gold]

The preparations of the heart belong to man,
But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.

All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the spirits.

Commit your works to the Lord,
And your thoughts will be established.

The Lord has made all for Himself,
Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom.

 Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord;
Though they join forces, none will go unpunished.

 In mercy and truth
Atonement is provided for iniquity;
And by the fear of the Lord one departs from evil.

When a man’s ways please the Lord,
He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Better is a little with righteousness,
Than vast revenues without justice.

A man’s heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps.

 Divination is on the lips of the king;
His mouth must not transgress in judgment.
 Honest weights and scales are the Lord’s;
All the weights in the bag are His work.
It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness,
For a throne is established by righteousness.
Righteous lips are the delight of kings,
And they love him who speaks what is right.
As messengers of death is the king’s wrath,
But a wise man will appease it.
In the light of the king’s face is life,
And his favor is like a cloud of the latter rain.

How much better to get wisdom than gold!
And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil;
He who keeps his way preserves his soul.

 Pride goes before destruction,
And a haughty spirit before a fall.
Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly,
Than to divide the spoil with the proud.

He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.

The wise in heart will be called prudent,
And sweetness of the lips increases learning.

Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it.
But the correction of fools is folly.

The heart of the wise teaches his mouth,
And adds learning to his lips.

Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.

There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.

The person who labors, labors for himself,
For his hungry mouth drives him on.

An ungodly man digs up evil,
And it is on his lips like a burning fire.
 A perverse man sows strife,
And a whisperer separates the best of friends.
A violent man entices his neighbor,
And leads him in a way that is not good.
 He winks his eye to devise perverse things;
He purses his lips and brings about evil.

The silver-haired head is a crown of glory,
If it is found in the way of righteousness.

He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.

The lot is cast into the lap,
But its every decision is from the Lord."

Yes "Pride" is  a most interesting choice of sloganeering for those that promote debauchery. Today this nation celebrates pride within June's "Pride" month.

Tonight special tributes go to  those that celebrate with pride their advocation of debauchery of many kinds at our MLB's games except one. Our own team has special PRIDE beer drinks insulated holders, and a special Pride section  right in line with the tv camera's view of the left handed batters, and a big billboard in rainbow plus colors stating "Baseball Is For Everyone". Now that is a good slogan, for everyone, but it's very colors tell  it does not welcome those that believe in the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman, nor in the raising of children in a Godly manner. It does the exact opposite of it's worded message.

Today MLB teams are wearing uniforms with badges promoting queerism, all except one that refused, the Texas Rangers. Somehow I find myself hoping my own team the Rays get beat by them today, though there are some on our team that absolutely refused to wear the queerism promoting badges last year, and I guess will refuse this year as well. The owners I guess see money in the event, though it may backfire just as the Budweiser queerism campaign backfired.

BTW I have taken to  using the word queerism so as to encompass all the versions of debauchery being promoted today.

Yes, I too have thought "pride" was a very interesting word to use.  The world and flesh puts a lot of stock in that word, not knowing at all where the source of pride comes from.

May the Lord have mercy and rescue many from that prideful nonsense!

All of this is fascinating.

I recall a song that was very popular during the 1980's. Called "God Bless the USA," the refrain is as follows:

"And I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free..."

Pride.

It's fascinating to observe some who relish grumbling and whining --- accusing the world of being the world --- making a grandiose display of indignation toward their horrible neighbor. Oh, their neighbor doesn't conform to standards that this world of man has never aspired to meet at any time!

It appears to be a virtue signaling requirement to whine prodigiously about how this world fails to meet one's godly standards. It's a convenient excuse to engage in rude conduct because it's all just so terrible, you know? Let's disparage our neighbor because they offend us.

The offense reaches a fever pitch, my friends. None of this indignant grumbling is lovely, good, or worthwhile. The words of the Lord are cast to the wayside for they are an inconvience to this brand of Christian entitlement which is spreading like a plague.

Treat others in the manner you wish to be treated yourself.

Love your neighbor as yourself.

Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith.

Bless, and do not curse.

Judge not, unless you wish to be judged. For the manner by which you judge shall be returned to you.

Examine yourself first.

It's not a logical fallacy. If someone came in here and said he's taken to calling Jews "Shylocks", would it not be a logical conclusion that person doesn't like Jews? If someone came in and said he hated the Rosenstrasse protest, would it not also be a logical conclusion that person doesn't like Jews? Of course it would, because there is no reason to use that slur and no reason to be against that protest that isn't rooted in animus. Same difference.

Leviticus 19:18

"You shall neither take revenge from nor bear a grudge against the members of your people; you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord."

I don't get that @Neighbor hated "gay" (or black) folks from what he said. It's the Pride agenda thing that stirs people up I think.

Listen, we've had gay acquaintances and friends and some very close ones that we've had some real good times with.  But what my wife and I don't like is the extreme political agenda and in-your-face attitude that's being thrust on the rest of society by a few percent of folks that live that way (along with the insistence that very young children should be taught that they might actually be another gender other than what they're born as).

But you are right-on with the verse from Leviticus you quote, along with what @Marathoner said. It is easy for us Christians to allow ourselves to get too stirred up by this type of volatile political agenda, and sometimes forget that one of the key things we're here for is show God's love to others, regardless . . .

Therefore let me quote this verse from 1st Corinthians 5:12-13 that perhaps sums up the approach Christians need to have with this:  "What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?  God will judge those outside."

The nations are endorsing pride and the nations will fall because of it. These are the signs of "the time of the signs".

I have noticed many Christians promote "Love your Neighbor" on a regular basis and fail to remember 2 Corin 6:14 and 1 john 2:15.

Always good advice. And I have and am. So far I have found I am not able to participate in what I now see as belial; further that I had become ensnared by the attraction of MLB  baseball itself to the point I was overlooking what had become obvious. Baseball is now a tool of the Godless. It is woke gone amuck. I cannot overlook it for my own pleasure. I must give it up.

It has become a kind of a fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, experience where the shame became mine with need to overcome it. There is no hate in that, it is self preservation at work. It is also for me the doing of faith for I cannot participate in the fun of baseball at the expense to me of sitting in a place that dishonors God.

I can share of why I am unable to join in anymore and have done that already sharing along with I suspect tens of thousands of others to MLB management and teams ownerships. Yet it has made it's decision, and now I have made mine, as for me and my own house we will choose to serve the LORD. Has nothing to do with hate, it has all to do with not participating in dishonoring God.

While I do not judge I do discern. I find I cannot lend support to venues that promote what God has stated is contrary to His will for mankind. I must separate myself from the venues that promote that which God has condemned. Has nothing to do with either love or hate, it has to do with obedience.

All the letters strung together and still being added onto today are now a religion, one with several sects; all incorporated under the common banner of being sexually deviant and generally called queer regardless of sect or type.  I see it as queerism a religious movement. It is no more nor no less descriptive than LGBTQ+++ whatever is being added on to it all today. It carries no emotion, it is an umbrella word for it all.

Every agenda is extreme if it's one you don't like. I notice you aren't bothered by the actually extreme agenda of Christian nationalists in the United States interfering in private health care, women's health, or their collective efforts to subvert democracy and impose a Christian theocracy. I don't see you upset about waves of book banning, library defunding and general attacks on teachers/education. Could it be because you like that agenda and therefore don't think it's extreme? You literally have a governor in Florida making war with it's biggest employer (Disney, a private company) for mildly criticizing his anti-LGBT laws. I sure think all that is extreme. I don't think any of you realize how much this reminds me of 1933 Germany which employed similar tactics.

Homosexuality and transgender(ism?) is not allowed in Judaism and I have little interest in defending it. I will however defend people's right to exist. If you or anyone is bothered by pride month or businesses that support LGBT causes, then just don't give them your business. I personally don't care as it doesn't effect me one iota either way.

Instead we see morons going into businesses like Target, tearing down signs and threatening the staff. I consider that extreme. Ted Cruz is apparently now too "woke" because he tweeted that gay people in Uganda shouldn't be executed or imprisoned for life. Christian nationalists in the United States pushed Uganda towards those laws, and they tore Ted Cruz apart after rightfully criticizing those laws. I consider that pretty extreme also.

The reason I said Neighbor doesn't like gay people is because he calls them queers, a well known slur. I personally don't slur anyone, especially not people I have no animosity towards. I said he doesn't like black people because he snarked about black lives matter, a movement intended to bring attention to and stop police brutality against black people. There's no conceivable reason to be against an anti-racism movement unless you either dislike blacks or just don't care that they are being brutalized. I also base this on people knowingly or unknowingly spreading lies or disinformation about a group they dislike. You show me an adult trying to convince a child they are transgender and I'd be right with you in protecting said child. It is also illegal in the western world to perform any kind of gender surgery on Children. The youngest I can find... anywhere... is 17, and even then only very rarely.

I'm about as socially conservative as it gets and there are endless things that I find offensive or go against my values. When I see girls walking around in thongs and tube tops, do you think I don't wish I could walk up and tell them I think they look like prostitutes? Do you think I don't want to tell guys walking around shirtless and with their pants sagging they like disgusting slobs? When I see people kissing or making out in public... gay or straight... I'd love to go hit them with a sledgehammer. When I see a store selling pornography I'd love to go up to the owner and tell them I think they are filthy degenerates. All that stuff and more offends me and is against my values.

But I don't do any of that.

I don't do that because it's none of my business to tell others what to do. It is not my place to brand them with disparaging slurs and names because it's wrong and against the entirety of the Torah. It's also not my job to try and force non-believers to conform to my religious beliefs against their will. In the entirety of the Tanakh there is not one single time G-d commands me to even try. If an LGBT person (or any other group) is not a Jew (or Christian) then our values do not apply to them.

The Torah, which is the document which guides my life, is full of G-d's commands on how we treat or neighbours. It says to be caring, kind, forgiving and careful with our words. G-d is very harsh on those who are cruel, vindictive or Judgemental.

The word Torah means "law" not "suggestions". Being kind and benevolent is a command from Hashem that I have an obligation to follow to the letter. Maybe that means nothing to many of you and perhaps you guys don't believe in the Torah, but I do.

I am not the judge of the LGBT and neither are you, or Neighbor or anyone else. G-d is their judge and I leave it to him alone.

“If you can do no good, at least do no harm.”

                                                     - Kurt Vonnegut Jr.

Thanks.  I am bothered by a good deal of what you talk about - the whole enchilada of the world is rotten, and getting more so by the minute (regardless if it's on the political left or right).  I really don't put much effort into trying to change any of it - I don't agree with it, but it's above my pay grade to try and change it.  Plus - as you've said in so many words - it is the people that really matter, and not so much what they do.

That's why Christ came, to save people and restore mankind back to the original purpose.  I cannot tell how G-d will do it all, and be 1000% righteous in doing it all, but He's got this!

People should consider that it they fail to take a stand against sin, especially if they stand in support of it and either actively or passively defend it, they are participants in that sin and put their own eternal fate at risk.

Participate in the sins of others, receive the rewards of it along with them.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
