Who Will Not Inherit The Kingdom Of God?

I am often reminded of a comment USA President Jimmy Carter once made when asked if he sinned morally. He stated he had committed such sin in his heart. I recall that as I read lists of sin and wonder is there any that  i have not committed in my heart (My thoughts), and therefore are guilty of according to my Lord's declaration? Yet even those like me are granted access to the salvation provided by my Lord and savior Jesus. Awesome mercy in that, awesome.

This psalm gives both sides of the coin in a concise manner.

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

² But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

³ And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

⁴ The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

⁵ Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

⁶ For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

We are called to be holy. If we live unholy we will not be in the kingdom of God. Only a born again person can live holy. So first one has to be saved. And only then can they put on righteousness. Only the righteous will be in the kingdom but you first are saved through faith in Jesus.

Romans 14:17 gives another view of the Kingdom of God . . . "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." 

and yes, I am aware of the context of this scripture that deals with eating meats sacrificed to idols, but, the principle is the same regarding this post. Have any of us lost our Peace, or, Joy in the Holy Ghost that is based on the Righteousness that Jesus has given us? ? ?  Since then these things are mile markers of the Kingdom, maybe . . . just maybe . . . we are living outside of the citizen rights and benefits of the Kingdom of God.

Faith in Jesus means to trust him for your righteous standing. We are totally righteous before God by the works of Jesus. And we are also made holy by Jesus blood. Only then can we do righteous deeds.

Yep! My own faith is in his faith. For mine may waiver and be ensnared, His did not and does not.
