It's Howdy Dowdy time Buffalo Bob!

No kids, it is time to pay financial tribute to Caesar with some of what is Caesars. Least it is for many in the USA.  

 

Got to share in paying at least some interest on the national debt eh? Hey maybe we can take out a reverse mortgage on the USA. Nah I suppose not, as it isn't the lender's first rodeo either.

 

Does kinda feel like I am overpaying for a clown show though.

Oh well, thank you Lord for the provisions to be enabled to pay Caesar too.

And the irony is that Paul said this about governments and authorities as the Roman Empire that was imprisoning and killing believers ...

Rom 13:1  Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 

Rom 13:2  Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 

Rom 13:3  For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 

Rom 13:4  for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. 

Rom 13:5  Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. 

Rom 13:6  For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. 

Rom 13:7  Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

It is easy for us Christians to look at what's happening in DC and not get a jaded attitude about it all!  Good thing our trust isn't in the men themselves, but in God who holds it all.

On the other hand, I believe that in the last days of this age, evil will/must be manifested more and more - at least that's the way I read the book of Revelation. So we can rejoice as we see the day approaching!

Global finance lost all credibility when the U.S. left the gold standard.

Haggai 2:6-8 For thus says the Lord of hosts: Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory, says the Lord of hosts. The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of hosts. 

The scriptures are filled with sound financial wisdom and business practices.

Can any of this be applied to a system that is supported by debt?

Last night I watched Tucker Carlson twitter take, which is his 3rd time I believe. I watched it on youtube.   He said the  Biden government spent 6 1/2 trillion dollars last year, the largest of any administration that govern the US government and little can  be shown for it.  So, where are your money going or who is paying for that expenditure.  If those figures are right, then a group of people, corporation ect. has a lot of the US money somewhere.  Providing that those figures are true.

Yep. I do not complain, I am privileged to have something to tax, but I do need remember due dates, old geezer that I have become. Perhaps in this busy time others may lose tack of the dates as well.

What with I-75 and I-95 having collapsing overpasses just the cost of vital  roads repair might demand the money really gets spent on what it is allocated to be spent upon. Well maybe; or it could get used for  ever more rainbow flags to hang from government buildings I suppose.

Infrastructure work is pretty critical and has been kicked down the road for too many years.

That said, I think one of those collapses was due to an intense fire. Regardless, repairs will cost a few bucks.

Yep quite few bucks plus time! The other on I-75 was also a tractor trailer rig incident a too tall load. Thing is it closes in all directions all lanes until a rebuild is completed.  

Rerouting efficiently is nearly as impossible as by passing Atlanta is to many of us. The supply system has it's achilles heel, won't take much damage to it to shutdown the USA . Another sign that it is best to be prepared for long term shortages, make that  substantial food pantry a reality, if it is not already.

Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
